I so loved the music and funny dialogues in Witcher 1, I want the same in Witcher 2 Its one of the best Wrpg's this gen, Simply brilliant.

that's because cd projekt red is a small company in eastern europe and they don't have the multi million dollar funds that these so called movie tie in 'games' have.

If they make for the 360 they should port it for the ps3 too, since is easier, i dont care if it is poor or sh*t downgraded version for ps3, I want this game on PS3 with trophies.

I am one of the biggest fans of witcher played this ages ago on my pc, while you guys just played it now.

A recently leaked video showcasing the follow up to the critically acclaimed RPG The Witcher is making the rounds this morning, despite clearly reading “WARNING - THIS VIDEO IS CONFIDENTIAL - INTERNAL USE ONLY”. Yeah, that didn’t work out so well…

Anyway, the five minute internal vid for the game, apparently sub-titled “Assassins of Kings”, showcases a behind-the-scenes look at the dev studio while showcasing plenty of footage from the alpha version of the game itself, which is described as an “robust, pure blooded RPG with an extremely modern next-gen look and feel.” In other words, it’s SWEET!

Developer CD Projekt RED has issued an official statement on the video, which goes a little something like this:

“Of course, we can’t and won’t try to deny the facts. The movie that appeared on the various sites yesterday presents our newest project, The Witcher 2, which we’ve been working on for some time. We made something about half year ago, to present the first playable version of the game.” said Adam Kiciński, CEO of CD Projekt RED. “Currently we are looking for a potential publisher (or publishers) for this title, and this leak is an uncontrolled side effect of that process. For today, we are not commenting on anything that concerns the game itself.”

More information about The Witcher 2 will be unveiled alongside the official announcement.

You don't need to be a billionaire. These guys are in Eastern Europe and have one solid so-so selling game behind them. I'd say $5-10 Million, tops.

Maybe if we all pool in..?
