Release date 2010

Official comfirmation.

EA has officially announced the new Medal of Honor game for release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2010.

Simply called "Medal of Honor", the game is set in present-day Afghanistan and focuses on Tier 1 Operators - super army soldiers, in other words - who get involved in situations all around the world.

"The development team has been working closely with Tier 1 Operators from the US Special Operations Community since the earliest stages of development to create the most authentic modern war experience," EA said in a press release.

While EALA works to create a "best-in-class" single-player campaign, EA DICE will work on multiplayer.

Yay! Love Dice.

Airborne was excellent , only con was that it was very short , if it had 10 lvls instead of 6 , it would had been so much more better.

It felt almost half compared to previous MOH games SP Campaign.

The Operation Market Garden and last lvl of MOH Airborne was <_< Epic..

- Fall 2010

- You play dude on the cover

- Takes place in Kabul

Operating directly under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors are called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators.

Over 2 million Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines wear the uniform. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane of existence above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and has been developed with Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players will step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan.

There is a new enemy. There is a new war. There is a new warrior. He is Tier 1.

OMG that dude has an awesome beard. The kind I wish I could cultivate.

Anyway I hope it stays with the battlefield scenarios and doesnt become a 24 clone like CoD. The best parts of CoD4 were the marine assault parts in Namelessmiddleeasterncountristan. Somewhere between CoD4 and GRAW2 would be a nice comfy place.

to the moh vets, how has been the mp in the previous games ? do they have similarity to cod ? i mean in the pace and perk system ?

The whole thing has come around in a full circle. Its kinda ironic.

IW split from EA who were hell bent on churning out sequels at that point and they made CoD which kinda turned out to be a bastard child of MoH. And here are IW now who are churning out sequels and EA are making a MW bastard child with MoH.

But why this move to modern warfare.that WWII theme was awesome

probably because the ww2 theme has been used seven thousand times in the last 10 years? plus the fact that they want to emulate the success of the modern warfare series.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who loved Airborne. It had a very entertaining campaign. It was one of those games that I picked up on a whim and it turned out to be a lot better than I expected.

BTW, cover art is awesome! Medal Of Honor: Hobo Assault!
