Select Xbox 360 games now at Rs 699

While platform owner Microsoft continues to enjoy its extended leave of absence from the Indian gaming scene, third party distributors are taking it upon themselves to bring some momentum back into the seemingly floundering fortunes of the Xbox 360 in India. E-Xpress Interactive represents some of the world’s leading publishers; Ubisoft being one of them. Starting this month, four of Ubisoft’s blockbuster titles will be available at just Rs 699.

Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, which are now Xbox 360 Classic titles, will each be available for Rs 699, considerably lower than the Rs 999 pricepoint of other publishers’ Classic titles. While these titles may be slightly old, their quality is undeniable. And if all goes well, we may see many more Xbox 360 games from E-Xpress’ catalogue joining these four at this very attractive price.

Gears 1 is in the classics line up, last seen at retail for Rs. 999. Good luck finding a new piece here. Haven't seen one in ages . EA's classics range is around Rs. 999 though, scoped L4D for that price at Croma a few months back.

Wow nice. Those are some very good games at the price. Cover art isn't too much ruined either. Will definitely get SC DA from the list, and hopefully more when we'll know the complete list of games.

Do you by any chance know what price retailers pay? I know distributors like Milestone and such pay evidently less, but that is expected. Just curious how much profit retailers make on each game. Brand new selling for atleast 2500. 200 Rs? 400 Rs?

I believe retailers get an 18% margin. I could be wrong, but it's somewhere around that figure. So that means retailers pay around Rs 2,050 for a game with a Rs 2,499 MRP.
