So, why not we discuss what changes we would like to incorporate in a game, to make it perfect. One rule though, only one genre per day. Say if someone starts the discussion for racing genre, others will try to add more on that game only, rather than starting a new discussion about rpg game or such. For starters, lets discuss what changes can be done to fps games. My suggestion, a war game, where you can actually see your whole body like in real life, not just legs like in Mirror's edge. Also, no cliches, make it realistic. Every bullet should make an impact on your health like in real life, no auto-healing, and medpacks should just make you a bit resistant to pain, not heal you up completely... Feel free to add up whatever else you would like to incorporate in a game, if you are the developer. P.S. -- Mods, feel free to move/delete the thread, if it doesn't comply with any of the rules. Its all based on what you like more Agreed. But at the same time, if you think about it, I don't want it to be more and more realistic. Obviously in a realistic fps game, you will end up spending most of your time in hospital. We need lot more ideas like mirror's edge, where you actually put your legs to use. It costs around 1500Rs. and has motors at several locations to feel the bullet your character get's hit with. And intencity changes too, based on which gun from which the bullet is shot and knife/melee has the maximum impact. A good piece of hardware.
