I see lot of deep fighting mechanics there, the chaining of grapples in mid air looks interesting. Only if they didn't beef up the charcter models, they would have attracted more buyers. Still I might get it if the roster is good. Only Cena and Rock are revealed as of now.

Yes, its a spin off on the more serious and realistic SVR games. Did you guys check the gameplay videos? Rock literally jumps 10 feet in the air to suplex Cena, and Cena jumps 10 feet in the air carrying Rock to AA Rock from above. Totally over the top.

MMA though real, the games are way too boring. Too many limited moves, no dramatic elements, no larger than life characters, no over the top entrances, no promos, a boring REAL sport.

WWE on the other hand is more scripted, often having twisting storylines and unbelievable characters. More suited for a video game than MMA or Boxing for that matter.

The videos I linked were released during E3 2010, since then they haven't given any info whatsoever. Total focus was on SVR 2011. Now as that is a big hit, we will get some info. People are saying the game contains 20 current WWE superstars and 20 Legends. Still a rumour though.
