Stoke played really well. At the same time, City aren't the same team away from home.

I had a feeling this would happen ever since that darn final.Players have lose their edge and we are not half as good defensively as we are with Agger in .Earlier we used to play well and still lose now we are playing horrible as well .
Wont blame Kenny as he cant do anything if players are not performing but a lot of rebuilding needs to be done now.If u make a bad signing then try to cut ur losses immediately .
Caroll needs to go or even if he is to be given 1 more season we need a 20-25 goal hitman for next season .7 is the maximum number of goals a player has scored for us ,just not good enough .
Same for henderson keep him of u want but I see no logic in having him for Aquilani or Meireles .
Downing has started to play really well so wont complain about him .
I remember how many criticize Rafa for horrible signings and yet forget his net spend was 10 million every season of his 5 seasons and here Comolli has spent over 100 million cash on overated English players and instead of the team improving it seems to have had the opposite effect .Owners need to do something about who is handling transfers .Comolli did miserable at Spurs except for 1 or 2 excellent signings but here he seems to be getting everything wrong except for Bellamy .
This stupid transfer policy needs a change as English players are not good enough especially at the price we are buying .
I know Torres is long gone but we have not replaced him and maybe we need to make a cheeky approach for him or go for the real 35 Million Pound buy LLorente .
Also what has happened to Bellamy I dont remember him having picked up an injury ,
For this Season now the Fa Cup Semi Final is our Season and its sad that instead of atleast pushing the 3 London Teams for UCL spot we are more interested in giving bottom teams a new lease of life (Bolton,QPR,Wigan)

On the other hand City need to be within 3 points before their summit meeting with United which is now must win for City .I wont be surprised if within a couple of weeks we see Mancini coming out and saying 2nd is not bad and they will try to win next season .

Chelsea winning the CL-final is a defeat for proper football. I'd rather not win it, then to have to play this way

Mancini won't say anything of the sort, it'll be damaging for the morale.
P.S: Balotelli has been extremely poor of late, and slowly back to his old whining self.
Still a good number of matches to go, United could surprisingly drop points as well..

So you think Kenny Dalglish had no input on which players to sign? I find it strange, maybe becoz at Arsenal it is Arsene Wenger who decides everything apart from the money available to him... Blaming JUST Comolli seems a bit wrong to me.. He might have overpaid for these players but surely KD would have asked to sign these players or not?
And also you don't seem to be complaining about the tactics of KD.. I have seen a few LFC games this season & in every game Jordan Henderson seems to be playing a different role & it always seems as if there is no tactics on how to work the ball, just keep on passing to the next player..
And I am just talking as an outsider & what looks like happening at LFC from the outside.. I don't follow them in every game so I might be wrong...
And also I can't see what the owners can do in this case.. They backed KD to the hilt & provided him with the funds to spend, what more do you want the owners to do? They are obviously not going to tell which players to buy becoz they obviously have much less knowledge than a manager..
For me it is a very simple case of Kenny Dalglish being out of his depth when he has come back, his tactics are not working in this decade & even though LFC love him so much, they need to see who is wrong here & get someone else to manage the club IMHO... Signing majorly british players in the last transfer window clearly shows the lack of knowledge which KD has regarding players available in other leagues which has been detrimental to your club this season...

When it comes to signings Kenny does have some say but not the final power ,Comolli signs .The strategy we wanted to deploy was to buy good british talent but clearly they are not upto the mark.Even when Kenny was to be given a permanent deal this part was one of the hitches .Kenny wanted a year deal with control over transfers and owners wanted a 2 year deal .They agreed some compromise .
I think our Owners have been fantastic ,last season they even allowed us to sign players before we could sell.
In terms of Tactics ya I agree Kenny is definitely no Rafa Benitez who was the best in tactics but quite honestly till before the League Cup Final our position of 7th was not because of his tactics .It was awful finishing as u might have noticed in the Arsenal game .The problem with Kenny is that I think hes been out of the game far too long and hes managing us like a 80s-90s club.
I would not sack kenny or call for his head yet as everyone is accustomed to 1 bad season as for Kenny its been 2 bad months but I wont be surprised if he himself resigns next season. He has done in the past and if he sees LFC not progressing I wont be surprised if he does the honorable thing.I actually dont believe in sacking managers without giving them enough time as I believe the fault should be collectively shared between than players and the managers.Obviously there are some exceptions though like in the case of Stever Mclaren for England and Roy Hodgson for us .

Qualifying for League Cup does not give us the right to lose every game and finish 10th or 11th .Liverpool have already qualified for Europa after winning the Carling Cup.
Mancini won't say anything of the sort, it'll be damaging for the morale.
P.S: Balotelli has been extremely poor of late, and slowly back to his old whining self.

Playing for LFC alone means the players cant let their heads drop and must show commitment whenever they wear that shirt.
Not now but once u are 6+ points down he will have to concede the title and will talk about how 2nd place is progress.
I know morale is important but he wont forget to remind the owners that he has got them to their best place finish in years. His job expires at the end of next season and owners recently delayed talks till season end and I wonder how they will feel about a trophyless season.
Balotelli has done nothing interesting recently
Ya they may drop but its Uniteds to lose now

I really don't think City will go 6 points below. Also, it is very much possible that United might drop points as well.

City will probably be 6 points behind till the derby .Sunderland away is the last game of the season and its quite likely the league will be won by then. The two games that are really worrying me are the away games at Shitty and Sunderland. Sunderland have been playing some good football since the managerial change.
City recalling tevez shows just how desperate they are

As an Arsenal fan, if its just between City & United to win the title then I hope United does it... City and Chelsea are exactly opposite to what Arsenal stands for! Teams like these are destroying football TBH..
My ideal & realistic top 4 this season would be:-
1)United
2)City
3)Arsenal
4)Tottenham
