^^ if you have the steam version, go to steam workshop. Best way of modding skyrim. Else, nexusmods has some good mods as well (most of these are also available on steam workshop).

hey guys,

just wanted a quick info on the ps3 controller configuration & few other things in skyrim...tried searching but couldn't find a better option...

1. Wht is the D-pad used for?
2. How do u switch between weapons?
3. Where can i find the amt of weight i've been carrying? (like in fallout 3..if the dude is carrying more weight, then the movement becomes slower)
4. How to use dual wielding?

I play on the PC, so can help you out with 2,3,4

2. You cannot switch between weapons like in other games .... you need to equip the weapon in the menu or the quick menu, if you've tagged it as a favorite.
3. Go the items menu and in the bottom of the screen, you get your weight. Unlike FO, here if you are over encumbered, you move. But very slowly, you can't run and jump and fast travel is disabled.
4. Just equip one weapon for the RH and one for the LH.

Can i edit the look of my character in the middle of the game , i forgot to customize my character at the start

^^ only if u r on PC. Use the console and type 'showracemenu' , be careful not to modify any stats or change ur race....that seem to screw up all ur current stats.

Yeah on the PC Version , ok thank skyrim god to that my guy looks like sh!t , ok not totally but yeah , will check it out thanks , one more thing were can i sell stuff at higher rates , i sold some swards to the guy who we have to return the golden claw but he gave me half the price it was worth

^^ you need to invest points in speech perks if you want better prices, or, you can wear some amulets/rings/clothes etc, which causes the merchants to trade at better price (20% or so) !

Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media filed a trademark in February for "Dawnguard" relating to video game software, including downloadable content. The application does not specify anything else, and doesn't mention Skyrim specifically.

Speculation tabs Skyrim because of the Mythic Dawn cult in the series, as well as the Redguard race.

Could this be the game's first DLC content or is it something not even Skyrim related?

To use azura's star, you need to capture an animal/creature's soul.

To capture it, use the soul trap spell and kill the animal under a minute, or kill the creature using a weapon enchanted with the Soul Trap enchantment.

The weapon is available at almost every blacksmith, but it, disenchant it at the arcane enchanter and enchant any of your weapons with it, then use it to capture a soul.

The fact that you are asking this made me realize that you also might not be knowing that you can trap souls into the soul gems that you keep getting/buying for enchanting your weapons.

I got my first Soul capture weapon from Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun. But I advice you buy a soul trap spell from any court wizard. Gives you about 60sec to kill the target.

Also, there are 2 types of Azura's star : Normal & Black. Normal one captures white souls only(giants, animals, etc.). Black one captures both black(human souls) & white souls. If you haven't got the black version, go back & get that one(by siding with the guy in winterhold).

That is what I'll be doing.

You can use the soul trapped gems to enchant your armor and weapons, and recharge your weapons when they get drained.
