Hey Guys,

Sometime back we had a discussion in which people wanted to have freedom to open and discuss stuff in general chatter, which was earlier being locked. We had a healthy discussion and it was decided that we can have decent threads which might not be related to gaming.

Off late we have observed that members have been opening threads which are not only nonsense, but even end up defying the law of gravity. Like " Write Your name hanging upside down tied to a fan" or "Do you sing while Sleeping" or "Did your dog poop in the balcony or on your head" and other ridiculous stuff. Where in we do appreciate the enthusiasm to create a new thread, we need to understand that not everything need to be discussed and what we discuss it should at least be vaguely near gaming.

We have threads like "anything goes thread" and people can actually post anything there and that is fine, we don't care, but having threads for every such stupid discussion is not a great idea, and leaves a bad impression on new members, who might think that we are not too serious about gaming, and more serious about knowing "Whose dog popped the most in a day".

We are not changing any rules, nor are we enforcing anything new, this is just a request to be a little sensible while opening new threads, and hence forth if we think that some thread is absolutely crap and not required we would be closing them.

We are open to discussion please feel free to discuss here.

PS: The threads name above are imaginary and any resemblance to any thread open or locked, is purely coincidental.

For discussions on topics that don't warrant their own dedicated threads, you can use the Anything Goes thread.

BTW, on a serious note, what about the threads i made to show the mods, that how annoying the other threads of the same kind are! I mean, usually mods just don't do anything for these kind of threads. But by making one more similar thread, usual reaction is disgust, and which end up in locking both threads. I don't mind anyone locking those stupid threads, I made, but I get no appreciation for pointing others to the stupidity of the similar threads created by other members, which makes me sad. I hope, next time, I won't have to create such threads. Also, is there a way to report the whole thread?

Pakistan rocked by powerful quake...North India feels tremors

The earthquake which measured 7.4 on the Richter Scale had its epicenter in southwestern Pakistan, the India Meteorological Department said.

Several parts of North India, including New Delhi, Rajasthan and Haryana were shaken up a bit in the week hours of Wednesday following a powerful earthquake in southwestern Pakistan.


Tremors were felt as far as Jaipur, Barmer, Ganganagar and Jaiselmer in Rajasthan.


The earthquake which measured 7.4 on the Richter Scale had its epicenter in southwestern Pakistan, the India Meteorological Department said.


A US Geological Service report said the epicentre of the earthquake was located 45 km from Dalbandin in southwest Pakistan. It said the focal depth of the earthquake was 84 km.


The earthquake, that had its epicenter near the borders of Iran and Afghanistan, rocked Pakistan while also jolting a few other cities in the region, including Quetta, Karachi and Multan. Tremors were felt in Lahore and Dubai.


Pakistani meteorologists said the quake's epicentre was in a remote area about 200 miles south-west of the Baluchistan capital, Quetta.


According to reports, several houses were damaged in Quetta but no casualties have been reported so far. There has been no immediate reports of any loss to the property either.

Murderer Tells Judge To “Suck His D—,” Gets 107 Years In Jail


A foul-mouthed murderer who made a raunchy request to a Brooklyn judge before his sentencing on Monday received plenty of prison time to rethink his choice of words.

Zaire Paige, 24, was hit with 107 years to life for killing Lethania Garcia and wounding four others in a brazen October 2008 Fort Greene shootout.

But before getting the maximum possible sentence, Paige tried to get one last dig in at the judge, Vincent Del Giudice, telling him, “With all due respect and from the bottom of my heart, suck my d—.”

Without missing a beat, Del Diudice fired off a comeback and then tough justice.

“I respectfully decline your offer,” the judge dead-panned. “You are a danger to all civilized members of society.”
