I was just wondering.. I've bought lots of wii games[well 5 games] from PA, and had no problems with the shipping.. is it safe to order a new console from PA? [or yesasia for that matter] will they ship on time? and what about the customs?
Anyone from chennai?

No UK retailers ship hardware out of the country. I tried to order a couple of Elites from game.co and they refused to ship even if I had Fedex/DHL pick it up and I picked up the tab.
They kept saying that they cannot ship anything electronic over 2Kgs out of the UK. Several other stores said the same.

game.co.uk will ship anything if the weight is under 1kg. So you can order PSP and Nintendo Ds lite from them but the only down part is that these consoles are quite expensive in uk so its better to get them from US or if you know someone who lives over there or you are visiting the country.

Ah, just ordered a product off Play-Asia this afternoon, but saw this thread now, I'll use the links in the future.
Btw, the game I bought is worth Rs. 800, Play-Asia said that though they can't mark the parcels as gifts, they'll print the invoice as half the value (Rs. 400), so will I have to pay any customs on that?

Hmm, are you sure? Cos I bought a SVideo cable a few months ago which cost more and I didn't have to pay anything. Maybe I was lucky, heh.
