I think they started adding that recently..I wanted to order a $56 product for which i have to pay $100 which includes shipping and import fees...Its just ridiculous

Sharpshooter is selling for 15.45$ . After shipping and import fees 69$. Crazy.

I ordered something from amazon.com using my debit card few hours ago..unfortunately after a while it gave an error saying payment decline by bank...So i called my bank asking them for a reason. They said they don't support Amazon.com..So i just re-tried and updated the same payment details haven't got any error so far.

Should i change the payment details to the credit card right away or should i wait for another decline message and then change it..I don't want money to transact from both..

I'd suggest wait for a decline message. If it doesn't show, you can assume the transaction is gone through, I guess.

On a different note, was it HDFC?

Your bank usually charges you for foreign transactions. Amazon is charging you in INR so that there aren't any extra charges.

Bro thats because your Debit Card is in INR not USD . They charge 4-5 rs extra for conversion like foreign exchange companies.
