you cant have a fixed selling price, even legally..... that's kinda a forming a cartel.... market pricing has to be free. some1 report them to the MRTP offices

So the G4u guys got back to me. They're saying it's fine because it's at the store and it is not online and they're making people earn their discount. All fair as the policy only is against online discounting but wasn't it done to protect brick and mortar stores from having to drop price in the first place?

Did they mentioned how they were able to sell Shadows of the Damned and Alice at 1499 and that too online?

'earn their discount'... what the *bleep*? so as long as a retailer makes their customer 'earn' it, discounts are fine? quick, someone tell the ivg vendors to put up a simple captcha on their sites. that should count as earning the discount. something like this should be enough...

I was told that was a goof up from one of their newbies. Then again, it's not like Milestone's own sales and marketing guys on the disty side of things are interested in upholding their own policy with other retailers let alone their own stores.
