wOOtjumpy wOOtjumpy wOOtjumpy

I win 2-1 !!!

I took the lead very early and kept it for a long time. That settled my nerves and I started playing very well. For around 50 minutes he was trying to make his way through my defence but I was marking all his runs. Finally he equalised in the 70th minute with awesome tricks using CR7 and beat 3 of my defenders :O. After that he started dominating the match and taking my defenders to the sword :fear:. Even got a clear 1v1 using CR7 and he missed. I went to my regular defensive mould waiting...waiting for a break. It finally happened in the 92nd minute where I lobbed the ball to Iniesta. He crossed it and Torres scored !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The final goal did not appear in highlights but my first goal did. Will post it later.

3-3 now baby !

P.S. : I must add that this guy was really great and was attacking like a dream. Bit harsh for him to lose that way but well ... right now it's party time for me :punk:

And oh yes ... I was indeed jumping up and down in my hall when I scored the winner. :giggle:

Thanks a lot guys.

This is one win I will never forget. Once he scored that goal, I got that sinking feeling because I knew all he was looking for was a bit of confidence and he showed his true class between the 70 - 90 minutes. I just used every single bit of experience I had to make sure he would not get a shot on goal and even then he managed to break my defence once :majesty:. But the pressure from the defender helped in letting him shoot wide. Honestly around the 85th minute I was just hoping the final whistle would be blown because I thought this guy would never break and I could never spring up a counter attack which is my biggest strength going forward. But he had 1 small weakness and that was defending long balls. That's how I got the first goal and that's how I managed to make space and cross for the second.

@ Azaan and Dharmin : Best of luck brothers. I'm not gonna say 'play as a friendly match and no pressure' because that is definitely not possible :giggle:. All I will tell is to play your game because if you guys do that, you guys are unstoppable.

Ah...good times

i asked you for practice matches yesterday and you were busy with clubs :chair:
My Achilles heel so far looks like Mri and Avi.

played an awesome match with Mri day before he was leading 3-0 before i made it 2-3. game ended 3-4 in favor of him.

@ Avi - Our matches should be completely lag-free from today as I fixed my issues with router. its no longer in restrictive mode. you've been awesome in both the matches yesterday and day before and completely deserve to be the winner.

P.S : used to wonder why there are no opponents in FUT since the day i changed router from dlink to cisco linksys. fixed router issue and played FUT from yesterday night 2 till 6 in the morning. Won the 6800 coins tourney(3 from same team and 5 from same country wala one)

Thanks a lot man. That was perhaps one of the toughest matches of my Fifa 11 career against Rafy in Ashes. I hope we are in a better position in the tournament this time though by the time the 6th game comes along :)

Oh and great to know that your router is fixed now. We have had 2 good matches recently. Let's play some more later on then :)

I can never forget how mrinal's match result provided the much needed boosted morale then....

After that game we were unbeaten for 7 Ashes games almost equaling a complete series.
I dont know if anybody remembers but Mrinal was supposed to play game 3 but couldnt as he was out of town.I always wonder what would have happened had we been 2-1 up after game 3 instead of being 1-3 down.

Ah...good times

But seriously the pressure that time was bad,1 mistake and we could not win the Ashes.I remember being a goal down with 10 minutes to go and how I was completely shaking and the relief I had when I got the late equalizer.
I remember me,Avi,Omar,Dan in chat room during the final match and those were nervous times and then we had a great time when Dharmin came there after winning us the series.I think what won us that series was our belief and unity. We never once criticized anybody despite being 1-3 down.We always believed we could do it and thats why we did it.Im so proud of our unity I just hope its always the same.Second series I think we were way too strong,We got the order right and thats why we won it early.Of all my tourneys and many more future Ashes tourneys this 1st series will always be my all time favorite. It was almost like a Hindi movie
Its great to respect the past but now to the Future

When u immediately lob the ball at kickoff ur striker gets 1v1.The defenders hold a very high line and play the striker onside

I actually never tried it...but i have seen ppl do it against me....most of them have been unsuccessful...

Ya many people try it.The best way to prevent it is to start running backwards with ur defender immediately after kickoff. Its extremely successful simply because many people are switched off mentally at kickoff and are hence exploited.Shahrukh is master at those balls.Be careful whoever plays him

stop and turn is a trick tarun n i use on the wings...hold l2 followed by up and right/left on the right analog...this trick has to be precisely timed and the defender has to be in a particular position to be beaten unlike a fake....

surya try roulette...its basic and it was effective against u yesterday :P
