there was this one raw/nitro that is considered classic now....since raw used to be recorded and nitro used to be live, on nitro they once gave out all the results of the raw matches so that people would watch nitro and not raw (the timings overlapped)...that night raw got its highest TV viewership rating in 3 years
if u havent heard of this: watch either the 15 years of raw specail or a special called "monday night war"

I also think that someone like John Morrison or Finlay should have ended up coming in the top 4 instead of Kane !!!
WWE just fu*ked up Kane's career by unmasking him. The guy looks like a joker these days.
By the way,
My favourite wrestler : Chris Benoit (R.I.P.)

i can't believe what they did to jericho on his return by puttin him back to another second rate storyline,he's lost every important match he's been in.
the new wrestlers like kennedy, finlay, santino,,CM punk all suck and i pretend ECW and smackdown don't even exist these days.(although i'm proud of the great khali)

I am shocked to know that you watch wrestling but don't know about the Hart-Mcmahon controversy.

I still remember the look on Bret Hart's face when assaulted McMahon. Boy was he pissed or what!!
On another note, Vince McMahon used to be a really nice guy in the beginning. He used to do the commentary with Jerry Lawler and sometimes Randy Savage. I had no idea he was actually the owner of the company! (WWF back then)

there was always personal enmity between mcmahon and hart
the outburst im talking about was when hat suddenly grabbed the mic and just started sound mcmahon out about how he wasnt being appreciated and younger less talented guys were getting more of the exposure
it all ended with mcmahon screwing hart out of his title in a match that went against the script....mcmahon, shawn michaels and the ref fixed the match and screwed him out of the title......the script was supposed to go differently...u could tell by his expression when the match ended....he had no idea what had happened.....i think that was probably his last appearance at the WWE.....he was on WCW the very next night......later mcmahon said that hart had secretly signed a deal with the wcw while he was under contract with the wwe and he felt betrayed and cheated, which was why he decided to screw hart

Well, I'm answering on behalf of sam because I'm sure the reasons we are posting in this thread are pretty much the same.
Wrestling has been a part of my childhood... people like Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage etc used be my heroes back in the day! I remember rushing home from school in the afternoon just to catch the latest episode of WWF!
It's pretty much the same thing I feel for stuff like Tom & Jerry, G.I. Joe, Transformers, He-Man & The Masters of the Universe, 80s action movies, mecha anime, 64-bit video games... actually, visit retrojunk.com for more details
