Resistance: Fall of Man

In Resistance: Fall of Man, US and British forces band together in a last-ditch effort to save England from a horrific scourge -- the Chimera. This parasitic species infects other life forms with a virus that rapidly mutates victims into new Chimera. In mere decades this race has ripped apart populations across Asia and Europe and by 1951 has landed on the shores of England. You play the part of US Army Ranger Nathan Hale fighting alongside a group of British resistance soldiers to free the country from the Chimera and to halt their spread across the globe.

The Story

Resistance: Fall of Man follows an alternate history where the world did not experience World War II, the Great Depression, or the rise of Communism in Russia. A relative era of peace ensues following the Great War, ending with the revelation of a ruthless and destructive race dubbed the Chimera. In 1951, the year in which the game takes place, England finds itself under invasion. Little is known about the Chimera and their origins remain unclear. Both Asia and Europe appear to have already fallen to the Chimera in short order by this time.

The game follows U.S. Army Ranger Sgt. Nathan Hale who is operating in England alongside the British Army. During one particular assault, Hale's unit becomes infected with a Chimeran virus and the soldiers fall into a coma shortly after. Hale appears to be spared as he is the only one that manages to awaken and becomes aware of the Chimeran plot due to the infection inside of him. As a result, he becomes the key figure in a desperate operation that is launched to try and halt the invasion. The next three days are chronicled in the game as the U.S. and British forces band together in a last-ditch effort to save what is left.

The Weapons

Resistance has a number of unique and creative weapons. Many with a twist on classic weapons, or completely new ideas all together. Known weapons and their functions are:

Human weapons:

M5A2 Carbine: The M5A2 Carbine is the standard-issue human assault rifle with a 40 mm grenade launcher attachment. It has a 50-round clip, and the player can carry 150 spare rounds and 3 grenades (2 in multiplayer).

Rossmore 236: The Rossmore 236 Combat Shotgun is employed by the British Army for base defense and urban warfare. It is noted for its potent stopping power, especially in close-quarters engagements. Since the Chimeran invasion, soldiers have found the shotgun very adept in dispatching Howlers. Pressing L1 discharges both barrels. This method is less efficient than firing the barrels singly, but using it effectively can sometimes mean the difference between life and death.

L23 Fareye: The L23 Fareye is a human sniper rifle. While aiming through the scope, the game simulates heightened reflexes by slowing down time while the player can aim normally. The Fareye is available for multiplayer, but the ability to slow down time is not included (Sadly )

XR-005 Hailstorm: The Hailstorm is Resistance’s take on the minigun. The XR-005 "Hailstorm" is believed to be of US origin, though it is not found on any known order of battle. The weapon fires subsonic bolts which are designed to ricochet off hard surfaces. Shots will continue to travel until they find a soft target or are exhausted. Kills outside the line of sight are possible with banked shots. Pressing L1 launches the remainder of the Hailstorm's clip. This creates an Auto-turret as the clip fires its bolts at nearby targets. The recoil from the bolts will even allow the clip to hang in mid-air. This weapon is not available during online play.

XR-003 Sapper: The XR-003 "Sapper" mine launcher is believed by British Intelligence to be a product of secret US weapons programs. Pressing R1 fires a stream of organic cluster mines. Each mine is encased in a living cell similar to those used by the Widowmaker. The mines stick to most surfaces, including each other. In combat, the Sapper can be used most effectively by setting large cluster mine traps for ambushing Chimera. Aiming at a mine and pressing L1 will detonate the targeted mine. Other mines within the blast radius will also explode. Holding L1 detonates all mines in the vicinity. This weapon is not available during online play.

L209 LAARK: The LAARK rocket launcher is unique in that its primary fire releases a singular powerful rocket, but its secondary fire is able to slow down the rocket and even stopped it mid-flight. Whilst paused, its trajectory can be modified to fire around corners or over barricades but it also posseses the ability to fire seperate submunitions while suspended mid-air. This weapon is available for online play.

L11-2 Dragon: The L11-2 Dragon is a standard flamethrower. Its alternate fire has been labeled as a vapor cloud. This function releases a cloud of flammable gas that the player can hold the secondary fire to make larger; when the button is released, the gas is set aflame and is shot in the direction the player is facing. The fire burns a long time — similar to napalm — and is quite effective in killing certain enemies. This weapon is only acquired after beating the game once or playing a multiplayer mode.

Chimeran weapons:

Bullseye: A relatively standard assault weapon developed by Chimera. The twist of the weapon is its alternate fire: the tag. When an enemy is ‘tagged’, bullets will home in on that tag until the enemy is killed. This allows smart players to tag the enemy and then hide in cover, while bending their bullets around cover to still hit enemies. These tags are reusable, as they can later be recovered from enemies that have been killed with them (or even from places where tags were fired). Firing the Bullseye into a wall or object, however, creates a potential 'Bullseye-Bomb'. Bullets will home into the target, and swarm about to form a sphere of bullets. You can then fire it at an enemy, and the swarm of bullets will track down the locked-on enemy. If bullets remain in the swarm when the enemy dies, the swarm will hover in the air until the Bullseye is fired again. The Bullseye holds 70 rounds, and the player can carry 210 spare rounds and 6 tags (unlimited tags in multiplayer).

Bullseye Mark II: The Bullseye Mark II is an upgraded version of the Chimeran service rifle. It has the same functionality as the standard model, but uses a supercharged power cell to develop significantly more firepower. Slugs fired from the Mark II's create massive permanent cavitation in victims. Those not killed outright receive wounds which do not readily close. Fatal blood loss is inevitable without immediate medical attention. It is for this reason the Mark II is referred to simply as "blue death". The Bullseye Mark II has only been observed in use by Advanced Hybrids engaged in base defense. This weapon is not available during online play.

Auger: A Chimeran-developed weapon, this heavy-penetrating assault rifle fires energy bolts that can burrow through solid objects, thus negating cover. The bolts increase in power as they move through barriers. The bolts slow down as they move through objects, and a spark of light can be seen, warning potential victims that their cover has been breached. The alternate fire of the Auger is to put down a translucent energy shield that cannot be penetrated by any weapon except the Auger itself. The Auger holds 20 rounds, and the player can carry 100 spare rounds and 6 force shields.

Reaper: A weapon that is a new twist on an old standby: dual-wielding pistols. While most games have both pistols aimed in the same direction, the Reapers are capable of independent firing. Consider the primary fire the right hand and the secondary fire the left hand. When both buttons are depressed, the reticle splits off into two individual reticules. Your hands sweep the area, and a modest auto-lock from each pistol will then latch onto whatever enemy crosses its path. This weapon is very useful for taking on lots of small Chimera. This weapon is only acquired after beating the game once. This weapon is not available during online play.

Arc Charger: The Arc Charger fires a blast of energy which briefly clings to organic tissue. Additional blasts increase the intensity of the energy. Pressing R1 triggers the energy to arc to nearby targets. Upon striking additional targets, pressing L1 will arc the energy again. The energy's power increases with each successive arc, as does its ability to strike new targets. With the proper timing many targets may be attacked at once. The Arc Charger is particularly devastating against multiple enemies where it can develop maximum intensity. This weapon is only acquired after beating the game once or playing a multiplayer mode.

Splitter: The Splitter is an advanced Chimeran weapon. It's potential for collateral damage makes it uncommon outside of the most hotly contested battlefronts of the Chimeran invasion. Pressing R1 fires a packet of high-velocity explosive rounds. Pressing L1 will split the rounds multiple times. Holding L1 increases the distance between the split rounds. This can potentially create a literal wall of gunfire to cut down whole squads of opposition. This weapon is only acquired after beating the game once. This weapon is not available during online play.

Grenades:

Frag Grenade: The No. 22 Fragmentation Grenade is a standard issue anti-personnel munition used throughout the British armed forces. The grenade has an exposed fuse which releases irritating smoke prior to detonation. While not hazardous in the quantities produced, it does discourage a target from picking up and throwing back the grenade. The fragmentation grenade is ideal for assaulting entrenched enemy positions or attacking around corners.

Hedgehog: The Hedgehog Grenade is a Chimeran anti-personnel munition. It is thrown like an ordinary hand grenade. Upon landing it springs up and expands into a spiny cluster. At its "kill height" the Hedgehog fires spines in all directions with enough force to pin targets against nearby walls. The effect is especially deadly in confined quarters.

Air Fuel Grenade: Much like the name implies, this grenade is a type of fuel-air explosive that releases and then ignites a cloud of flammable vapor to burn enemies. The grenade also has the ability to stick to surfaces and enemies.

Backlash Grenade: This grenade releases an energy ‘bubble’ around where it lands. This bubble constantly damages any enemies caught inside and repels their shots back at them. Players use this grenade as a form of cover by going into the bubble and firing with human weapons at enemies, as only Chimeran weapons are repelled by the bubble. They can also use them quite effectively in singleplayer by throwing them at a group of Chimera, enveloping the Chimera in the shield, and letting the Chimera kill themselves. This weapon only acquired on the second play-through of the campaign mode. This weapon is not available during online play.

The Vehicles

U/AV-17 Hawk

The U/AV-17 Hawk is a US VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) combat transport for personnel and light armor. When delivering soldiers, the Hawk swivels its rotors to direct downwash away from the jump doors. This allows soldiers to fast-rope down while under cover of the .30 caliber door guns. Once its cargo is away, the Hawk's versatility means it can loiter to offer tactical support or quickly return to be loaded for another deployment. The Hawk bears a visual similarity to the V-22 Osprey.

P-1117 Kingfisher

The British P-1117 Kingfisher is derived from an early iteration of the American U/AV-17. The Kingfisher is exceedingly able at inserting soldiers into combat situations. Unfortunately, the Chimera have responded to this ability with the Stalker AA platform. At present, all remaining Kingfishers are in the service of British Intelligence. The have been largely relegated to a role of aerial reconnaissance and combat coordination.

Chimeran Dropship

Chimeran Dropships, known as "buzzards", are armed shuttles and provide limited close air-support. Advanced propulsion units create dramatic lift allowing them to be better armored than equivalent human aircraft. Dropships bring Chimeran troops into battle via external transport containers. Each transport holds multiple Chimeran squads for maximum tactical flexibility. The containers can be dropped from low altitude directly into battle.

Burrowers

The Burrower is an armored transport capable of inserting Chimera directly into battle at a moment's notice. While unarmed, the Burrower does terrific damage with the excavating teeth on its "face". Outside of combat, Burrowers are used to develop Chimeran infrastructure. They have carved a network of tunnels throughout Britain to accommodate supply lines. The tunnels also serve to protect the power conduits found near Chimeran structures.

Goliaths

Goliaths are massive walking siege batteries the Chimera use to subjugate whole cities. They employ concussion mortar batteries to soften up opposition. Entire companies have broken under mortar barrages and simply run for their lives. This exposes them to the Goliath's most fearsome weapon, the Spire. Spires are biological warfare missiles which deliver payloads of Chimeran Crawlers. A single Spire can infect thousands, and Goliaths never use just one.

Stalkers

The Stalker is a Chimeran mobile heavy weapons platform. Equipped with an AA autocannon, a missile pod, and an anti-personnel gun, a single Stalker can make friendly air support over a battlefield impossible. Their multi-legged locomotion gives them superior maneuverability over all terrain. Stalkers are heavily armored against a catastrophic kill. The vehicle's only known vulnerability is the partially exposed power core on the rear of their hull. This vehicle can be operated during the campain mode.

M-12 Sabertooth

The M-12 Sabertooth is the US light battle tank. The main turret supports an 80mm rifled tank cannon and a 20mm Gatling gun. A .50 caliber anti-personell machine gun is mounted on a coaxial turret. A notable element of the tank's design is its ability to be carried for short distances by VTOL transport. Sabertooth brigades are commonly flown in for the final leg of an attack, known as "the pounce". This vehicle can be operated during the campain mode.

LU-P Lynx

The LU-P Lynx is a British Army all-terrain light-utility vehicle used for long range patrols. While unarmored, the Lynx is extremely crash-worthy due to its reinforced chassis. It has four-wheel drive and a deceptively wide track which keeps it from tipping over in tight turns. The Lynx is outfitted with a 360 degree shock-dampened turret equipped with an L-650 12.7mm general purpose machine gun. This vehicle can be operated during the campain mode.

Character Guide

Human Main Characters

Sgt. Nathan Hale (Playable Character)

2004213333376566469_rs.jpg

Hale was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in November 1922. Shortly after his birth, his parents succumbed to lingering complications from the influenza epidemic of 1918. Without nearby relatives, he was declared a ward of the state. After drifting through a series of odd jobs, Hale enlisted in the U.S. Army where he was elected to the Inaugural Ranger Orientation Program.

During a live-fire exercise, he led an unconventional gambit against a mock target, which resulted in the deaths of most of his candidate group as well as several Army observers. Hale himself sustained grievous injuries. The incident was attributed to faulty munitions. Hale's rehabilitation was conducted at the Army's Higgins Trauma Center in Montana. After dozens of intensive operations and exhaustive physical therapy, he finally returned to active duty. After-action reports consistently described Hale as fearless in combat, an inventive tactician, and an able squad leader. Commanding officers rewarded him with increasingly higher-risk missions. Despite his successes, Army psychologists expressed concern over what they perceived as Hale's growing death wish.

The U.S. Army deployed in Britain to face the Chimeran threat. No sooner had they landed than thousands of soldiers were incapecitated by the Chimeran virus. Hale was the only victim to recover.

Captain Rachel Parker

2002467888600626229_rs.jpg

The daughter of a three-star general, Rachel Parker was restationed too often to ever know what a home was. The lifestyle was too much for her mother to bear; she left when Parker was six. Parker became inseperable from her father. Despite her desire to join him in the military, he steered her instead toward a university education. Her eagerness to impress him led her all the way to the theoretical physics department at Oxford. Before Parker could graduate, her father offered her the job she always wanted with British Army Intelligence. The Chimeran threat was just becoming known in British Intelligence circles and he needed someone he could trust to be a liaison for the military.

Parker and her father worked closely together at British Central Command until the Chimera invaded England and attacked the base. Parker's father died helping her escape. She has continued to serve on the front lines in the war against the Chimera. Her brilliance at collecting and interpreting strategic intelligence is the only weapon that hasn't failed against them. Parker has long since become accustomed to losing everything she's ever cared for. Still, she feels it might be different with Hale. She wants to believe the war against the Chimera can still be won. She finds herself willing to support long shots, even if they are American.

Lieutenant Steven Cartwright

2002480568408826344_rs.jpg

Steven Cartwright was a lieutenant in the British Royal Marines, and presumably had been for a year or so because the chimera attacked in 1950. He was a leader of a small resistance group in Sommerset, England. His weapon of choice is the L23 Fareye, a sniper rifle though he is also skilled at using vehicle mounted turrets. He also shows skill in the use of Chimeran armored vehicles such as the Stalker (anti-aircraft walker used heavily by the Chimera) which he commandeered during the battle at Southern Command in Bristol.

Chimeran Enemies

Menial

2000028518553199024_rs.jpg

These worker Chimera are not a pleasent sight, but are quite harmless because they are not intended for combat. The Menial strain is bred to be a tool for basic labor. They are slaves to the other Chimeras and work in workshops that have been set up around England. They often transport items around on their back, and most of these are explosive.

The fact that he has a daughter may or may not suggest that he has or had a wife. It is also known that he was born and grew up in Somerset, England.

Hybrid

2000006985941247214_rs.jpg

The Hybrid is the standard fighting force for the Chimera. You will see these foot soldiers the most in Resistance, be careful for they are a savage enemy. Hybrids quickly learn the methods of their adversaries - They already display expertise of the British Army tactics. Beyond their adaptive nature, the most obvious attribute of the Hybrids is their strength in numbers.

Hardfang

2000018252221612026_rs.jpg

Hardfangs look similar to Hybrids, but are tougher to beat. They rush deep into the fray to use the Arc Charger weapon where it can strike the most targets. Royal Marine Commandos often use a marksman(sniper) to dispatch Hardfangs before they can get close enough to be a serious threat.

Steelhead

2000026612367921983_rs.jpg

Steelheads are a superior varient of the Hybrid strain. Their heavy armor is usually seen at the forefront of battle as they lead Hybrids and Hardfangs into combat. They willingly endure any pnishment to advance the Chimeran invasion. Steelheads are usually equipped with the Auger rifle.

Gray Jack

2002956041675622864_rs.jpg

Gray Jacks are descrepit Hybrids which have nearly outgrown their own bodies. As they approach death, their cooling units are over-taxed and their rampant metabolism steadily cooks them from the inside-out - Giving them an odor of decaying flesh. They travel unarmed and are seemingly frail, although the long reach of their wicked claws can be deadly. The wounds they cause are often fatal.

Titans

2002947274826641584_rs.jpg

The Titan strain represents the limit of Chimeran evolution of the human form. They are extremely strong and wield weapons more commonly found on vehicles, such as the Stalker. Titans aren't known to wear any form of armor, their calloused hides are sufficiently thick to protect them in the fiercest of firefights. There is no known weakness to defeat these foes, attacks to the head are believed to be most effective.

Carrier

2002941912309634427_rs.jpg

Carriers collected infected humans from the battlefield, after a Crawler attack. They then carry them to the nearest conversion center. Not all humans survive to become Chimera, as the Carrier also uses them as a food source.

Leapers

2002925403091425930_rs.jpg

Leapers swarm the player and fellow soldiers, often climbing on their person. Leapers attack with their teeth and claws - They should be dealt with at range whenever possible.

Howler

2002989464615494617_rs.jpg

Howlers are a large quadruped strain of the Chimera. They have a leathery hide that shrugs off most light-arms fire. Combat shotguns are close range have proven to be highly effective.

Widowmaker

2002951341201955852_rs.jpg

These stomp into battles decapitating, and dismembering anyone who gets in their way. The appearance of a Widowmaker on the battlefield requires immediate engagement by all soldiers. They attack with their barbed fore-talonsor by spewing explosive globules. Widowmakers cause tremendous casualties and have a rallying effect on other Chimeran strains. Attacks with high-explosives or vehicle-mounted weapons should focus on the creature's face.

Slipskull

Slipskulls are cunning opportunists who prefer to take pot-shots and make blind-siding attacks rather than face their opponents. They have a extreme rate of stealth and excel as scounts or ambushers. Explosives are a recommended response.

-------------------------------------------

Advanced Hybrid

Advanced Hybrids are the fanatical defenders of the Chimera Towers. Every aspect of their physiology has been tuned to grant them extreme levels of performance. They are outfitted with specialized cooling units to ensure their core body temperature doesn't climb uncontrollably during the head of combat. These foes are incredibly tough, they can tear apart any intruders they encounter.

-------------------------------------------

Crawlers

Crawlers are small beetle-like creatures used to spread the Chimeran infection. They are most often delivered by Spire missles where they are released to hunt down victims. When a victim is found, the Crawlers penetrate their bodies, usually via the mouth or nose. At this point the victim falls into a coma as they are injected with the Chimeran virus, the Crawlers quickly expire afterwards. During the coma the victim begins the inexorable conversion into a Chimeran creature. Victims are then usually picked up by Carriers for transport to a Chimeran Conversion Center.

-------------------------------------------

Angels

Angels are believed to be the most advanced Chimeran strain currently operating in Britain. They are usually found near Chimeran strongholds, though there have been sightings on the battlefield. Initial observations suggest Angels exert a command influence over other Chimeran strains, the extent of this connection is unclear. As leadership units, Angels don't directly participate in combat - The extent of their offensive capabilities is hereby unknown.

Online Information Guide:

Game Modes

Meltdown

In Meltdown, the two teams struggle for control of the coolant n odes placed around the map. By taking more coolant nodes than their enemies, a team can cause their opponent's reactor to overheat. Overheating causes a team's meltdown meter to drop. When it drops all the way, the game is over and the reactor explodes.

Breach

To win a Breach match, you must destroy the opponent’s reactor. Destroying a reactor is similar to destroying a node except that there are many more rods encased in each reactor. You can find the reactor by following your on-screen radar or checking the in-game map. Note that if a team owns all the nodes on the map, its reactor’s shields will not lower.

Capture the Flag

Your flag is stored at your home base. Your enemies’ flag is stored at the other side of the map at their home base. Retrieve the flag to gain a point. The team with the most points after the timer runs out wins.

Team Deathmatch

Similar to Deathmatch, but you play on a team. One team being human and the other Chimera and then you will switch after the round. Victory goes to the team who achieves the set number of points required to win or by having the most points when the timer runs out.

Deathmatch

In this Deathmatch variant, victory goes to the player who gets the most points before the timer runs out.

Conversion

Conversion is a ‘Last man standing’ type of match. Your goal is to simply frag all the other players before they frag you. You start out as a human, and if you die once you respawn as a Chimera. If you die as a Chimera, you are considered out of the game and are placed into spectator mode.

Team Conversion

The team version of conversion.

Assault

Both teams start with a few nodes and all of the base defenses from Breach. To win, destroy the enemy reactor. When you deactivate an enemy node, it becomes permanently neutral, and your opponents lose some base defenses. At the start of the match, both reactors are shielded (invulnerable), so you must deactivate at least one of the enemy nodes. Nodes do not regenerate health in Assault, but they take substantially more damage than in other modes.

I was surprised to see this one has so much common with first Halo, especially the final stages. Only thing missing was the Warthog escape. Just compare the enemies and vehicles, leapers to flood, Titans to Brutes, Steelheads to Elites, Sabertooth to Scorpian and Lynx to Warthog and so on.

Now playing the multiplayer and there's absolutely no lag at all. Already ranked up to Corporal. And I couldn't get 10 kills overall in Gears. May be Live could learn some lessons.

Resistance patch adds fixes, rumble… and screenshots?

From Ars Technica

http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars...and-screenshots

______________________________________________________________________________

Though many PlayStation 3 owners are currently obsessed with the company's latest offering, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Insomniac hasn't forgotten about its PS3 debut Resistance: Fall of Man. Announced and available today is a brand new patch for the launch title which boasts a bunch of fixes, as well as some interesting additions.

Greg Phillips, Line Producer at Sony Computer Entertainment of America, gave details of the latest fix on Sony's official Playstation Blog. In addition to the expected "numerous bug fixes" and "weapon balance changes and new round balancing options," Resistance will be getting the increasingly common rumble support, password protected games, and the ability to take screenshots in game using a USB keyboard.

While a patch is certainly good news, the last of that list of additions is perhaps the most interesting. One would assume that the necessity of a USB keyboard would mean that you'll be pressing "Print Screen" to take a screenshot, which would then save directly to the PS3's hard drive in a hopefully common format.

What makes this interesting? The ability to take screen captures and videos is something a lot of people are quite vocally enamored with thanks to Halo 3; forum threads are filled with pictures and the stories behind them. Should this functionality be available on the more popular PS3 games, it could be a selling point for community-oriented gamers. We're going to be taking a look at this in some detail, so expect a follow-up later today.

Resistance screenshot function is nice, but not flawless

As we mentioned yeserday, the new patch of Resistance: Fall of Man has hit and it includes an interesting new function: the ability to take screenshots with a USB keyboard that saves directly to the PS3's hard drive. That plus the ability to upload screenshots and replays that shipped with Halo 3 has created a market for community-based experience sharing in console games, and it's nice to see other devs trying to emulate the same effects with other games.

In Resistance, you connect a USB keyboard, press the Print Screen button when you want to snap a picture, and there you go. A new screenshot arrives on your PS3's hard drive. The pics are accessible via the "Pictures" section of the XMB. However, while it really is as simple as that, getting the pictures to your friends is slightly more challenging.

The method that I used demonstrates the general level of usability of the feature. Once the pictures were taken, I booted up the PS3's web browser to TinyPic, uploaded a few of the pictures, and then threw them on the forum: not quite as simple a process as going to your profile on a computer and sending pics normally, but it does work and the shots do look sharp.

So what does this mean for PlayStation 3 owners? Well, it's hard to say whether or not this kind of function will become a standard feature for PlayStation 3 games, but I would certainly hope so. Even with the requirement of a USB keyboard, it seems like the PS3 has no problem capturing and storing pictures. I hope Insomniac adds this to Ratchet as well; I'd love to take some screenshots of my Nitro Reaper in all her glory.

Halo 3 features FTW !!!

RESISTANCE REINVENTED

One of our readers has got in touch with a very inventive and interesting take on user created content. Chris (TheMethod) was sitting one day thinking about how Resistance allows in-game screenshots to be taken and after a bit of head-scratching an idea was born. Chris mobilised 40 soldiers and organised a series of photo shoots. Despite technical issues and a lovely chap going by the name of “Italian Crackhead” blowing everybody to bits due to not understanding English (look to the right in the first shot below), everything fell into place and the shots worked.

The first he called ‘The Class of 2007′.

They followed this with “The Big 40” marathon, a foot race around a predefined course in a map. And also “The Wedding”, a military style wedding photo with an arch of green dragon flamethrowers in place of swords.

The whole event was rounded off with all involved making their homage to the Burning Man festival.

For a full list of those involved click through and thanks to Chris (TheMethod) for getting in touch.

I'm having a lot of fun playing this game. It took a while getting used to the controls and everything considering I'm new to the console gaming scene. This is the first FPS I've ever played on a console. So it'll hold a special place for me.
