Next time I suggest score to be based on KD ratio into battle scor. Will discourage just running after flags.

Or elim should be pure TDM

Then everyone will camp & stack kills n avoid going for objectives.

If its only TDM then its not battlefield.

Personally i dont see a problem with everyone running to capture flags. I also dont see a problem with medic dominance n reviving, if anything it let to TEAM WORK.
More people would have been engineers JUST TO SURVIVE if Vehicles were allowed. Vehicles are very vulnerable post patch anyways.

So basically u guys voted & made battlefield 3 into Modern warfare 3. Accept the MW3 style cheap tactics too now.

I m majorly infantry only player n STILL i wanted vehicles allowed to keep the essence f bf3 alive. Infantry only is no assessment f a good bf3 player.

If a tank driver has an advantage of scoring a few more points n kills than on foot then so does an infantry player have the opportunity to gain 500+ points by destroying a single tank n kilking da 2 players in it. Especially when thr r such skilked infantry players in IVG.

if you ask me, looking how bf3 is supposed to be a squad/objective oriented, we should consider the objective and squad scores. You can see them in the battle reports and sometimes are very low for someone on top and high for bottom scorers..

Why the hell would people not want vehicles in a "Battlefield" ? Are they too scared to die from a tank? Come on guys.. this is Battlefield not cod. Using tanks, jets and choppers is a skill too and it should have been used.

Rankings based on KDR is a terrible idea, the general play would've been even more selfish than it was before. Having no vehicles made the Engineer and support class obsolete.

The patch made the tanks paper thin and chopper are a one hit kill with an RPG/tank or 1 hit disable with a stinger. It takes only a couple of good engineers to bring down a tank. It would've also fostered team play. We would've seen many team attacks like the SOFLAM/Jav combo even if it was every man for himself.

The biggest argument was that people getting in vehicles would easily outscore infantry players. That's not true at all. It all depends on a player's skill. If a good tank player gets into a tank he is more than likely to do well. Vehicles don't automatically make a weak player better than he really is. If a poor tank/chopper guy gets into a vehicle he's not going to do well at all. Vehicle skill is just as important as infantry skills in this game. Unfortunately, this tourney will only test the infantry skills of a player.

Here's proof that good infantry players can easily outscore a vehicle wh*re.

I joined at the start of the game and was chopper whoring the entire round. I had an amazing chopper run and still I was outscored by two infantry guys. Koldy who even joined LATE, managed to outscore by just running and gunning.

Chalo anyways, vehiclew or not, tourney is going well. Scores are neck to neck. And as said earlier we are still learning as organizers & trying to organize a tourney with 24 players in a fps game broader, deeper & tougher to asses than ANY OTHER.

Cheers to all 24 players for playing it with such dedication. Never a dull momemt in battlefield (or on it's thread)!

There's no tourney without eliminations. What you are suggesting can be possible if we had 40+ players n teams frm the very start would be teams of 8 or 10.

We need to narrow it dwn to 16 to have some sense f progression n the very struggle for it before we start with league matches.

First of all, brilliant adrenaline games.

Same issue as last time persists : when does the 'REAL' game start? There were so many server restarts, teams started playing to full potential and then it would be restarted again. For the league matches, please form a proper strategy to avoid the confusion.

Both Rush games went down to last MCOM which meant full josh matches. Credits to team B however, for managing to reach last MCOM pair so fast. I hope Aman took screenshots this time as well. I took of the TDM game only.

I think I've (barely) qualified but the final results will tell the truth. Aman, please do the extra effort and put up results soon. I know you must be tired after administering the server and all those restarts, but results boys!
