ALPHA17
^^ Dinjo best is you go for the stock MICROSOFT XBox wired / wireless controller, they are the best as far as I have seen them (and hearing you, Ethan and Gannu using it). The Razer Onza and all this are not really worth the extra moolah you waste on them. The stock pieces will set you back by -- Wired ~1900/- -->2100/- Wireless ~2500/- -->2900/- Hope this helps, Cheerio!
Big Boss
Yeah, stock are the best. I have read about Razer Onzas having deadzone issues etc.
Aftrunner
As someone who has been using an Onza Tournament edition for almost an year now I can safely say that its easily the best controller I have ever used. I cant even go back to the regular 360 controller now when I play Halo, BF or COD. But there are a few things worth noting. 1 The Dpad isnt really that great. I cant remember the last game I used the Dpad on but its still a little meh. 2 The controller is made for shooters. More specifically playing them online. It is goddamn perfect for them. For other gametypes though, it doesnt offer a whole lot more than the standard 360 one. 3 I havent had dead zone issues, nor heard of anyone else having them. And I know a guy who has like 4 of these f**kers. But the build quality is a little dodgy. On the plus side, Razer's customer service is absolutely fantastic. As good as MS's 360 customer service. They take your faulty one and hand a brand new one no hassles. 4 No wireless option. They are all wired. They do work great on the PC though. Heaven Angel
Don't buy Razer Onza..It's very nice but made of very poor quality. The right analog dies within 3-4 months and there is no support from Razer. not just for me but lot of people are facing same issue. All buttons on mine at working but it's useless as right analog is dead. Get standard/d-pad xbox controller, last longer and better.

Make that for all Razer products, I have a Lycosa and it is the most obstinate hardware I have currently, randomly buttons decide not to function OR function if you are not holding them. Can be minor in most situations but while gaming a 'gaming' peripheral behaving so is annoying to put it mildly. Physical button and D-Pad issues are not covered and their 1 year warranty is a joke, you have to cut the cord for getting a replacement piece. LOGITECH offers 3 years warranty and you can simply get a RMA complete within a week, no need to cut the cord OR any such funny business. Even thy have a few controllers but they are all bound to the PlayStation layout.

ALPHA17
Are razer products really that bad?, i thought they were the best in line. Their build-quality is very, very fickle. You might a good piece that will perform flawlessly OR you will get absolute bummer. Used Razer Salmosa and Lycosa, the Lycosa as I have already mentioned is obstinate but I can live with it. The Salmosa lasted me a year and half before developing double click issues and I ditched it.

Cheers Are razer products really that bad?, i thought they were the best in line. YES! Any product that advertise "best for gaming" are sh*t.They don't even last more than 3-6 months..If you're lucky, it might work for a year.[very unlikely] People blindly buy razer products because of their huge fan base, advertisements and stylish models/products. Mircosoft controller - pretty much same as Razer controller [which has 2 extra buttons (useless) and nothing reall different] last 10x more. Heck, Logitech controllers are better than Razer.I had one, it's old now..I used to play FIFA 08,09,10 and 11 with it..Never had issue..See, 3-4 years there. Razer products = my last choice. ALPHA17
^^ Currently LOGITECH, Cooler Master and Corsair (Vengeance lineup) are the only gaming components that I can really recommend. And thanks for the kind words, Joe.
thedarkrider
I bought the stock 360 white wired controller and it stopped working in 4days,now waiting for a replacement.. Then bought the black wired one and as of now is working flawlessly.. Razer onza stops working within 2months (personal experience) or some other issues starts coming..u may get a replacement but why take the extra hassel.. Use madcatz 360 controller if u can shell out the extra money 3k approx..worth every penny and so far the best..A friend of mine is using it for the past one and a half year flawlessly..Hope this helps

Choron ka raja
If you are not into competitive scene, like nearly 90% of IVG, then go for stock. Best feel, good build quality, and free replacement even for out of warranty and broken controllers. You can't top that ever. On an unrelated note, I got 350rs. charges waived off completely as my credit card expired. MS support has been so awesome for me, I am pretty sure, next gen I am going MS way only. They love me so damn much.
