might not be completely pointless - yes, everyone can display their Xbox GTs and PSN Ids along with their profiles, but if some new PS3 gamer wants to add a few friends to his buddy list, this thread will definitely come in handy - you cant expect him to browse the profile pages of every single GI member and note down their PSN ids... can you?

I had a question about PSN Ids also. I created at first a indian one with another name but then i realized i could not go on the psn store... So i created the one u see above u registered in Canada to access the online store. Is that gonna affect my online experience? Should I use the first one i made registered in India for online play or it will not make any difference??

no difference for online gaming. BUT ideally you should create an US id to access the US PSN store and use that as your primary id (the US store offers the most variety as of now...)
