Well i dont know about favourites but one apple product that sux big time is the MACBOOK AIR i mean how can u charge 96100 rs for a thing that doesnt even have an optical drive,,has got 1USB port??
Thin is cool but this was too much!!

Welcome to the club. Besides you can get a very tricked out Mac Book Pro for the same price. Or 4 to 5 PS3s.

Love the Mac Book though, works like a charm. If it could play games i'd leave Windows in a heart beat.

the only present apple products that are worth their prices are the Iphone and the touch.
Zune is much better than Ipod IMHO,

Though i thought the thread would have been more appropriate if it would have been iphone/ipodtouch specific... cos it needs lots of discussion considering the possibilities of the gadgets.. plus considering lots of forum members own it..

Apple rox when it comes to UI softwares and OS, but on the hardware side they arent that great..!! ( poiting to iPhones and iTouch )

I have been using Apple products since last 8 yrs almost.

I have had 3 iPods so far, one iphone and a powerbook too but i still don't consider myself as an Apple fan boy.

For me PC is FTW

Guys question, suppose i wanted to jail break an ipod touch what's the best way to go about it and can it be done on any model? Also what are the advantages of jail breaking one?

^^ 100% on your own. The entire process takes about 5 minutes.

@h3lios: yes any model can be jailbroken. The advantages are many - you can install a variety of applications, get access to features you couldn't by default and also customize the heck out of it. However, you will lose warranty.

Yes any model and jailbreaking wld allow u to install and use third party softwares that will enhance use and function of iPhone. Jailbreaking is MUST if u really wanna exploit iPhone to its soul.

Thanks for the replies folks. Currently looking at the 8GB ipod touch (getting a sweet price of 13.5K + charger and case for it). Though i might wait a month or two (for more cash) and in case of a price drop on the 32GB version (22.K at the moment).

Its so much cheap plus Apple hardware is very reliable.

I have never picked anything except for Ipod Mini and Nano from here.

Prices over here are so high thanks to the high taxes charged by the government although Apple Warranty ROCKS

they don't perform any repairs on your ipod incase its faulty. They just replace the whole thing which includes the accessory that comes with it.

yeah both iphone and ipod touch can be jail broken by anyone. Its very easy to do it.
