Looking at that pitch, i will get back both Umesh n Ishant (as bad as he has been) for Mohit n Bhuvi (as good as he has been), n take them by surprise with some pace.
These guys can at least throw with 145 kmph consistently, thts what we need tomorrow.
Umesh yes but Ishant has rarely touched 140. he's more in the 130-135 range with few reaching 136-138.
No Rahane ? Why doesn't he gets a mention here ? He's one of the best among the youngsters. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
he has the technique but somehow i have questions about his temperament. you look at him in Int'l matches & he seems to have a scared look in his eyes (like Yuvi & Chuna have against pace bowling even in india)
All dismissals were soft..
No practice match , Bad weather forcing team to practice indoors
even worse the 1 day there was good weather they took "rest". you would think after the humiliation of 1st match they'd be practising 24x7 but no.. same thing happened after Mumbai test vs Eng... basically they need a hard task master to put them in line
Our 8 away test loss is still live, if we lose the 2 in SA, it will be 10 straight away loss, will have to quit visiting cricinfo for a few months then, the mocking will be simply unbearable
it's already that way. worst is Pak & SL fans.. their own teams' record overseas is nothing much (esp SL) & they talk like they are no. 1 for last 5 years in all formats
Lol, you wanna bet?
Nvm, this discussion won''t get us anywhere. You continue pretending that he wasn't way past his best, and that he wasn't a liability in the side in the last 2 years.
He should have retired earlier so some youngster could have gotten some match practice at home before SA tour, but no, Mr. Tendulkar jst had to get his 200 tests for the record books bcuz thts the only thing that matters.
This SA hiccup is his last gift to India's cricket as an active player. The team loses out on practice games cuz the Majesty needs a nice warm farewell series against crappy opponents on home ground. Now, everybody be happy, he has his fairytale 200 tests n he bows out with a win
you really buy that..? so Srini problem against Lorgat has nothing to do with it..? what is more credible - arrogant BCCI chief wanting to show who's boss or SRT asking for home games when he hasnt asked for anything in his whole career?
also if the original schedule was stuck to there wouldnt have been m/any practice games either. just 4 more odis & 1 more test. bcci never ask for/push for/schedule practice games. the only time was on 2003-04 tour to Aus when Ganguly & Co requested for them. its upto the players to put pressure on the board but most times they're happy to get few days off
Wow.. now this performance by indian team is also due to sachin.. just wow
dont you know.. next 100 years bad performances is due to him
even GDP growth rate going down is due to him
