ok, started the game, cleared the first bandit hideout....the gun play is fantastic....the gfx, oh the gfx, i just keep staring at the surroundings, its sublime ! I downloaded the demo on PS3 a while back, and on the PC the game looks leagues ahead. The bad part is that there's lot of screen tearing in the outdoor environments, sometimes it really spoils the whole experience. And I'm surprised at how less the customization options are .... there's literally nothing much to tune in the gfx department.

god damn you
had to remove of 4 of my games from steam to make space for this game though. What the hell is taking up so much space ? The textures ?

Incoming RAGE DLC/Add-on and Mod Tools
It appears that Bethesda and id Software are preparing a new DLC or add-on for RAGE, as the publisher has registered Rage: The Scorchers with PEGI for PS3, X360 and PC. According to the registration, Rage: The Scorchers will allow players to interact with other players online and will contain extreme violence and strong language. We expect Bethesda to announce this DLC/add-on pretty soon, as they hinted about it back in March.
John Carmack has also revealed that they will be releasing those promised mod tools pretty soon and apologised for taking so long to finalize/complete them.
