So I have been playing for 12 hours now and it’s not that great tbh. Looks like the devs took everything great with got(prequel) and just butchered the amazing side quests (tales) that game has and replaced it with useless 2 mins side quests. The world is sparse with hardly any settlements, the story is literally one liner (so far) and the sane old liberate outposts activities. Also the random encounters for some reason seem dialled up which gets tedious after a while. I’ve unlocked three weapons so far. Honestly the combat is the only good thing about this game. Gfx is good but when you literally have no base towns/villages/cities/lot of ppl /buildings etc and just vast grasslands and flowers, I don’t really see that’s an achievement in itself. Background music is great and kinda like a stress buster at times. But overall, this has been disappointing so far. I think I’ll shift focus to main quests and see if it improves. So far, this looks like something I should’ve played in a sub, not something I had to buy !

Watching ‘from’ on prime video and man, never been so glued to a mystery show so intensely after dark and lost ! Still in season 1, it’s been absolutely brilliant so far ! On a side note, even ‘the boroughs’ on Netflix is pretty good !

in Kuttenberg region, have been so involved with side quests. I forgot that there has been a main request as well, and I have hardly progressed on it 😂 Any idea how far along the game am I, main Quest terms? I have entered the big city and talked to that female(forgot her name)…. After that , in been busy with the multiple side, quests/ tasks in all the villages in kuttenberg region.

It’s a third person roguelike game, in roguelike games, you restart from beginning after death.

Some tips to whoever starting this game, newly: - Invest some time in alchemy early on. I didn’t know this, but you don’t need to find recipes to prepare different potions. Just Google for some of those recipes and prepare directly and the recipes get added automatically. - There is a specific recipe to increase stamina, stamina regeneration, and increase strength and health regeneration. Combat in the game still sucks, but with these potions, it’s kind of manageable. - Walking overburdened increases your strength. - Consuming nighthawk potion, allows you to see in the dark. If you get the nightcrawler perk, you can finish many of the combat heavy quests at night time, where your stats are boosted, thanks to the Perk. - always have enough potions of Savior snapps and the related agility and strength potions before attempting any main quest as there is a good chance that the quest will lock you out of the open world for sometime. - Using horse to travel instead of fast travel, increases, the related attribute. Also helps you discover some treasure on the way sometimes !

Saw dhurandhar2 yesterday, half the gaalis were muted out which made it sound weird on screen. I was surprised I sat through a ~4 hour movie without getting bored/tired.

lol , Even I’m playing it thru ps essentials , bought the prequel in x360+steam sale long ago but completed it on steam only recently. This is not a game for everybody, although they’ve improved the combat compared to the prequel 😂

The issues are more to do with story , inventory management and other qol stuff (as per gamespot review). Most probably I’ll be playing on pc.

It’s disappointing though, was really looking forward to it. Hope the devs fix the issues in the coming months.

Playing this for the last few days. Each feature is so detailed, it’s bonkers. Even minor stuff like pick pocketing requires a mini game to be executed to precision. Only issue I’ve is the combat, just can’t seem to get the hang of swordplay or even fist fights. Completed the first combat training quest at that nomad camp, but even simple bandits or regular village guards take out Henry in 2-3 strikes. Is this expected ? I’m still playing those side quests to get access to the wedding !

All souls games are like that, it’s damn difficult bu not impossible, so the challenge feels like some personal accomplishment. I sat on Elden Ring for 3 years or so and then spent 160+ hours on it and played to completion !

GTA5, RDR2 - even I keep revisiting these games from time to time 😂

I can’t wait for this game after seeing all the promos. Have not played a game for more than 2 hours/week since Elden Ring. Hoping that game would bring my interest back !
