Borderlands Legends coming to iPhone, iPad next week

Gearbox has officially announced an iOS version of Borderlands dubbed Borderlands Legends. Unlike its older brothers, Borderlands Legends will play out from an isometric perspective (much like Diablo, the game it was inspired by) and will allow players to control all four vault hunters (from Borderlands) at once. That way you can use their powers in tandem to inflict copious amount of pain on the usual Borderlands fodder like Skags, Bandits, Crimson Lance, Spider Ants etc.

Unfortunately this game is not a Universal Application which means it will be available in two variants – one for the iPhone ($4.99) and one for the iPad ($6.99). Both versions will hit iTunes on 31st October 2012.
