Sony investing $20 million for exclusive PSN game portfolio

Sony had created a Fub Fund in 2009, which helps upcoming developers with necessary funding to create games for PSN. The Pub Fund is getting a massive $20 million injection from Sony, to encourage more exclusive games for PSN.

“This investment includes support across both our own network of first-party studios as well as for the Pub Fund, which was first introduced at GDC in 2009,” posted Brandon Stander, Director of Marketing, PSN, on the PS Blog. He also mentioned that gamers can look forward to original and innovative titles as a result of this investment.

“It means more unique, fun, innovative, edgy and higher quality game experiences on PSN that you won’t find anywhere else!”

“Under this investment, we’re committed to delivering titles that have innovative gameplay mechanics, vibrant visuals, interesting storylines and an artistic element to interactive entertainment that can only be found on PlayStation Network.”

“We are excited for the upcoming PSN exclusive titles that are part of this three-year plan, including Eufloria, Okabu, and Papo & Yo.”

Look forward to these games hitting the PSN soon.
