Playstation India is now officially on Facebook

We’ve just received word from Sony that it has kicked off its officially Facebook page for the Indian audience. This page will double up as a hub for all things Playstation, covering everything from news to reviews to sneak peeks at upcoming first as well as third party titles.

Gamers will also get first-hand information of local preorder promotions as well as have the opportunity to interact with like-minded people and share their thoughts on Playstation games.

It’s a bit late for Sony to finally break into the social media space, but better late than never. Rival Microsoft, on the other hand, has been active on Facebook for a while, with the Xbox 360 India page having racked up close to half a million likes so far.
