Sledgehammer has announced Call of Duty: WW2’s PC open Beta
If you’re looking to pick up the latest Activision shooters, prepare to shell out a little more.
The Taken King breathes new life into the troubled franchise. It adds a ton of new content and brings some much needed changes. In many ways it is what Destiny should have been in the first place, it’s just a bit unfortunate that it took a year to get there.
The PS4 beta will run from August 19 to 23, while the PC and Xbox One beta runs from August 26 to 30.
However, certain features won’t make it onto the old consoles, such as four-player co-op. They’ll only have two-player co-op support.
The new game signals a return to the fan-favourite Pro Skater series. Aside from solo, co-op and competitive modes, THPS5 will also provide tools for players to create their own skate parks.
The reboot ditches the coloured-buttoned-controller and does away with backwards compatibility too.
In a photo posted on Instagram, a screen shows the logo for ‘Tony Hawk 5’. An Activision spokesperson has said that is a working title.
The game will be formally unveiled on 26th April, but was confirmed via a teaser featuring audio clips from previous Black Ops games and ending with the Roman number three.
