3rd day of eating fish. Grilled fish (indian style) Shallow frying first and then grilling makes it cook properly, crispy and also removes excess oil. Sent from my ASUS_X01BDA using Tapatalk4 points

So since we are all stuck at home, I am sure everyone is finding a way to keep themselves busy. Eating habits as we know is not the same, so everyone would be trying to experiment. I know we have a food thread, but creating this for the time frame of lockdown. Share your recipes and photos of what you are preparing, good to share food that is delicious and can be made very quickly with least amount of ingredients. Posting pic is a must to tempt others to try your recipe. Starting with what I just made, shahi tukda Min Requirement Oil Bread Sugar Water Good to have Milkmaid Dry fruits. How to prepare 1. Make sugar syrup, by adding sugar in water till it becomes very thick. 2. Boil oil and fry bread. 3. Put the fried bread and in sugar syrup and you have the basic version of Shahi tukda ready. Optional 4. Put Milkmaid from the top. 5. Garnish with chopped dry fruits. Simple and delicious to eat. Sent from my HD1911 using Tapatalk1 point

The first 10 seasons or so are legit some of the best TV comedy. There is a reason why this became such a cultural phenomena.1 point

Oh ya i forgot. 1. Soak Urad dal for 5-6 hrs in water, or over night. 2. Grind it with green chillies, cummin seeds, hing powder and add water to form a batter. If you don't have any of these, just make the batter with Urad dal. 3. If you want you can add raisins now, or i prefer to add them from top, Or you can skip it. 4. Stir the batter to mix up everything for couple of minutes to make it fluffy. 5. Heat oil, and fry them in shape of balls. You can just use your hand or use a big spoon. 6. Drain oil, you can eat them just like that, i like it that way too. If you want to eat it this way, i advise you add some salt in the batter. 7. Take curd, add Red chilli powder and salt, dip the vada and have fun. You can garnish it with Pudina chutney, dhaniya, Tamrind chutney and raisins. Or just eat them plain.1 point

https://preppykitchen.com/apple-pie/ I have been baking and cooking for quite some time, so I just use the recipe just as model, I change the recipe as I go. Also, no matter which recipe you follow, I would recommend you to pre bake your lower crust. Lay it in the bowl, press it gently, cover it with baking paper and add uncooked rice or any dal etc, enough for it to press the base or even the edges. Let it bake for around 20mins at 180-200°C, let if cool slightly. Add apples in, cover with another layer of crust and bake as per the recipe. This makes sure that your bottom crust doesn't go soggy or worse, that it remains uncooked. It's almost impossible to overcook a fruit pie and it's bottom crust so don't worry, take care that the top crust gets just enough time and doesn't go biscuity.1 point

IMO, though they are both great action heroes, neither of them can be the next Jackie Chan because neither of them is anywhere near as charismatic as him. That guy could make people of all ages fall in love with him. Watch 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' next if you haven't already. Also, 'Layer Cake', which is a slightly different British Gangster flick but really good nonetheless.1 point

All these things go into the pockets of the industrialist owning the building, none of these things go to the docs. Everyone feels the doctors are making a lot of money, it's not so....the junior ones are paid salary irrespective of the number of patients and the seniors can opt for salary or per consultation. Max the senior doc can do to swindle you is add a visit to the sheet when he actually hasn't visited....very rare though, i've ever only seen two docs do this.1 point

My breakfast, lunch and evening snacks. Breakfast - Chicken Sandwiches and Chips. Didn't have enough of regular multigrain bread, so had to use kulchas instead. Works well. Lunch- Fried Rice and French Fries. Fries works with everything. Snacks- Some Bread Pakoda hybrid, but it's not fried I guess. I'm no good in the kitchen, this was all my mom despite WFH. I'm honestly surprised with the variety of the food that I've been having Sent from my Mi A2 using Tapatalk1 point
