People are dick heads, around 80% of our population, no disregard for own or other life. Vaccine or no vaccine they will continue to be dick heads, we have seen examples of friends and relatives in this very thread itself. One of the few country where you have to see both ways to even cross a one way road. Our people won't learn it's been proven again and again, educated or uneducated half of them are full of sh*t. My dad is coordinating oxygen shortage for a lot of places near our community, and the crap you hear for people to save few thousand is beyond belief. This is educated well earning lot living in villas. Parasites. So best you can do is try to save yourself like you have been doing, take the shot, still stay at home for as long as you can. Go out to less crowded places even after two shots avoid unknown people, pick up a book play games. Meet friends at home, only try to meet people who are confirmed vaccinated. We have to save our a*s, Avengers ain't coming and basic rule of survival is, majority of people don't care about your life let alone theirs. Be safe and don't spread fear mongering. There is no plan B, neither with India nor with anyone else.

I am currently living with parents for their health, still takes less than 30 min per day. The only thing I can't do is consistently round rotis, so mom helps with that. I learned a while ago that if you wash your utensils as soon as they're used up (even while cooking), they don't pile up in a huge pile.

I still don't understand why people need maids unless they live in a Downton Abby castle. Only takes few minutes to wash your utensils, throw cloths in the washing machine and broom your tiny apartment. Maybe I'm used to doing all that myself, but I never saw the point of a servant for these menial tasks.

How many needed hospitalization, what is that % of the daily new active case, that might help to bring down the anxiety. I personally can say of around 40+ positive case in our society only three needed to be admitted, and all three are back. Now i am not saying condition is not bad, it definitely is, but this type of information might help to calm nerves and let people take informed decision then to just rush to hospital as soon as positive news is received. My maid was devastated when she got to know she is positive, she has no symptoms, and I had to counsel her and pacify her. Told her to get in touch with me if she gets any symptoms we are there to help, but how many are getting such counselling and just running to hospital instead.

So I rushed through the demo 'cause I knew 30 mins wouldn't be enough and I expected to meet the lady in white for some one on one action but the demo ended with a her daughter on top of me. Not fair Capcom, not fair. In seriousness, the demo successfully sold the game to me. The atmosphere is freaking nuts and visuals wowed me at times. As for the combat I still feel the enemies take on one too many bullets to go down but I realized that aiming properly somehow does more damage than usual hip fire. So standing far away and aiming properly made the game more enjoyable for me rather than just hip firing at close distance.

I understand you are stressed like most people, and justifiably so. But you do realise comments like these help nothing but contribute more to the fear of people already on the edge? And I am not talking about this one comment, I also recall you sharing a twitter thread earlier about people getting sick/dying post vaccines. What do this think these posts are achieving? From the very basic common man idea I have about medicines, is that nothing is absolute 100% effective. Why should this be any different? Shouldn't we at least consider ourselves lucky that we have multiple, proven to be effective, vaccines in a span of one year!?

This govt claimed a hollow victory in Feb, did the UNLOCK bullshit and PR and all hell broke loose. Obviously covidiots are also to be blamed but our govt is full on sh*t. Should've kept lockdown for few more months till atleast majority of population is vaccinated and we would have avoided so much unnecessary death. I feel pity for people who have their dear ones struggling for oxygen or hospitals because I know my mom was in a bad situation few weeks back and having access to AirForce hospital helped us a lot. Getting a bed in private hospitals at this point in Bangalore is a nightmare. My prayers are with everyone affected. Stay safe people.

Thankfully my parents even after getting both doses of vaccines have stopped the maid from coming. I would have run away from home by now. They knew i was looking for an excuse. Desperately looking forward to remain safe at least till 1st may. Planning to use the confusion that will be created on 1st to get it. That's how i got my parent's first dose. Just took advantage of the chaos. Post 1st may dont think it will be as easy.

We have sent her on leave since yesterday. She lives in the building itself, we have a servant quarter for every flat, that's why we hired her in the first place.

My only concern is people giving up on masks and social distancing just because they are vaccinated, exactly like everyone celebrated new year, valentine's day, holi, eid etc like a retard by thinking India has defeated Covid. I don't see any state or government having any plan B. All are throwing their weight behind vaccines hoping it will eradicate Covid forever. Whatsapp university already believes vaccination means 100% protection.

You will need to register on Cowin from April 28th onwards. There are literally no strong arguments to be made here for any vaccine. Just get whatever one you feel like in case you have access to both. Don't read too much into efficacy numbers, Covaxin's is dropping with every interim result, I don't think it's gonna be any different than Covidshield. And I don't believe the "study" they did to test the Indian variant. And quite literally, it doesn't matter because all of us at some time will be taking further shots. So don't beat yourself over it.

Covaxin has my vote, simply because it is found to be working against mutation and has more efficiency than Covishield. Yes, you would need to use Cowin, you can download vaxx certificate from there, which will be needed in future travel.

Even m confused. Also there's no option to select in cowin which vaccine you can take. You have to call up the hospital and ask em what vaccine they have.

IVG been second home on Internet for me too. 13+ years now, so many memories so many friends, it's been such a ride. So many friends lost who don't visit IVG anymore, but still speak a lot on whatsapp and we still meet. It would be a crime to name a few and miss a few, so not calling out anyone, but you guys know. True fact: I dumped my then girl friend as she thought i was spending too much time on IVG then with her No regrets!!

Joined IVG almost a decade ago.(time flies!!) Was just lurking around for the first few years and not much active again now after having a kid. But IVG is my main source of gaming info. My go to place to share my impressions of the (age-old)games I am playing and have lost count of the great deals I was able to grab because of the online deals thread. Other than the occasional discussions, dint have much interaction with IVGians as I am not into online MP games and havnt met any IVGian personally. But one incident related to this forum will remain forever with me. In Dec 2016, I faced a medical condition which was vision threatening. It was just a normal day, I was sitting in the office and then within a couple of minutes, I lost vision in my right eye because of it. Visited hospital next day and was told that the same can happen to left eye anytime which would have made me blind, at-least temporarily till I undergo a surgery(which wasn't a guaranteed solution too). Obviously, feeling very low, depressed and scared about the uncertain future, I came back home. Few hours later received this from my Secret Santa. This brought a smile to my face and I can't express in words what it meant for me on that dark day. Its a reminder that what can happen if I ignore my health and also a symbol of hope that no matter how bad it looks, that phase will pass. And most importantly, it taught me a life lesson, that even though you might not realise it, a simplest of gesture can mean a lot to a person in certain circumstances. This card is like a treasure to me and I am going to keep it safe with me as long as I can @Mr.Copyright©
