First impression It's all about perfection, Sifu means master so you're literally playing to reach perfection to actually become a Sifu but punishes you for falling short. Prologue gives you basic structure of the game. Rest you figure out by yourself. Combos requires practice in training mode. They aren't easy to execute. Same as Sekiro, there a posture which you can break for a brief stagger. Highly skill based, you may take 10 mins or 1 hr to clear a stage. You WILL retry levels thinking you might do it better. PS5 dualsense is spectacular. Every rain drops, thunder lightning, mouse squeaks and even bug sounds gives you such immersive experience. Definitely worth. Reached first boss 'Fajar' at the age of 21, defeated at 23. First try, I'll try again later. Pro tip - Keep a hanky with you all the time. Your hands will get sweaty.

Finished playing God of War last week. A little too late to the party, but man o man what a party it was. No word left in the dictionary that hasn't been used to praise this game. Gonna say it anyways. This game is a brilliant masterpiece. It should be used as course curriculum for students of story and screenplay writing, visual arts, combat design, level design, overall game design, music, acting, the list goes on. And the visuals! While I played it on PS5, its literally unimaginable for me that this runs on a PS4 too - a software engineering feat in itself. I didn't enjoy the combat initially. My hack-n-slash GOW mind kept finding it too simple and boring. And then the rune attacks and the skill tree opened up. Boy, was I wrong about the combat. Its hands down the best combat in any game I have ever played. The amount of depth they were able to create with such a little amount of button set is just insane. To go along with it, the difficulty in this game is so delicately balanced that you always feel challenged and yet never underpowered. All in all, its a must play. Anyone who has not played it yet, do yourself a favor and do. You don't know what you are missing, boy!!

Finally gave in and bought the game at full price on PS store and I wasn't disappointed. Boy, does this game makes you feel like a badass kung-fu master! It took me a while to get the timing right for the dodges and the parries but once it clicks with you, you feel like an absolute God! Beat the first level at age 22 and even got the trophy for beating a boss without dying I love that everything in the game has a deliberate pace about it. It is not about frantic button mashing like most other action games. In fact, you mess up the combos if you input the combo sequence too fast. I really don't think the dying mechanic of the game is as bad as it is made out to be. It would be bad if the levels were a chore to finish. But thankfully the combat is deep and varied enough to keep you entertained for multiple runs of the same level. Sloclap games deservers a slow clap for this masterpiece. Definitely a GOTY contender in my books.

Hooda looked solid. And unlike a few (pant, rahul etc) he's playing at a position that he played all his life. Need to persist with him for a few matches. For next match I think they'll drop pant and make kl keep wickets with Dhawan coming in. Personally imo sky, Hooda and Sundar may solve our middle order crisis. And as I said virat ka 71st will come on the 71st page of this.

The problem currently is that it outperforms weapons like Bulldog/Heatwave in term of TTK and range while also spawning more often and with more ammo.

Which reminds me that my Eneloops are still going strong (8+ years) but don't hold the charge that well now. Let's see how much more it can take. PS - The larger capacity Eneloops (black ones) sucked a*s and died a long time back. PPS - Another reason they don't last as much now (besides their age) is because I have harder to drive pair of headphones attached to it.

Nope, It's easy, you need to get better at timings which ultimately requires grinding to hone your skills. Unfortunately I don't get time for this but I tell you man, I can just sit and play this game all day. So want to try for no death runs, speed runs, maximum - minimum age runs. There are various skills you need to unlock permanently which needs lots of XP. Growing up sucks!

Don't know about top 5 but my favourite weapon is probably the Mangler. The 1-2 shoot-melee combo is just too satisfying! Also, this halo armour effect is out now in the shop and I'm tempted to pick it up

So I preordered it and played for 2 days and here are my thoughts on the game: 1. The game is tough, I mean real tough, there is no icon or anything to tell you to block or evade or anything, you have to figure it out by yourself. On top of that timing is pretty tight. 2. Gameplay is smooth as butter on Ps5, no visible frame drops( maybe I haven’t noticed) and is very artistic and beautiful in its own sense. 3. Don’t expect too much story from this game, it’s a typical revenge story. 4. Some roguelike games are designed in a way in which reaching boss is more difficult than the boss itself, well not in this case, the journey and the boss will age you till adult diapers and will laugh at you. 5. I personally enjoyed the game as I have been a big martial arts movie fan since my childhood and somehow this game brings back nostalgia, but even if you don’t have this connection this game is a must buy in my opinion because of how good it is gameplay wise.

Finally finished it. The Maligula levels are crazy fun, and I did love the haunting music of "Fatherland Follies". So somber propaganda ! And some spoiler screenshots: Now trying to complete every side quest and collect every collectible. Absolute treat of a game ! Loved every second of it.
