Tbh that's gaming. None of us would be here if it wasn't heart over mind. It's that same passion that's kept IVG going all this time2 points

For the sake of this review, we played on a system compromised of a Ryzen 5800X along with an RTX 3070 Ti and 32GB RAM, well above its recommended specifications. I was able to play the game in 1440p with maxed-out settings without any issues such as screen tearing or stuttering. It is worth noting, however, that the frame rate is capped at 60 FPS on PC https://www.windowscentral.com/gaming/pc-gaming/stray-pc-review-everybody-wants-to-be-a-cat1 point

Saw Vikram on hotstar. I think it's one of the best action movies in Indian cinema. The best part is the soundtrack, man, i just can't get it out of my head and catch myself humming. With a good sound system, the movie is spectacular to watch. Very much grounded in some parts (especially the investigation scenes), and very filmy in others(especially the action sequences), it's a treat for fans of action cinema. Only gripe is that Kamal is there for only like half the movie, although the other actors do make up for it. But even in that short duration, his performance is top notch and maybe the current gen actors can learn a lot from him. ps: didn't know this is a sequel to an old movie with similar name, so that was a neat little surprise(although i haven't seen the older movie).1 point

AVShack.in 25.7K I don't have one. I am currently looking at a used Denon 550 BT AVR locally. 3030i was a little out of budget. Plus I already have an entry level subwoofer. M20 costs over 40K IIRC. I could buy a pair of 3010is alongside for surround and enjoy a decent 4.1 setup instead. I picked up QA because I read they are good for long listening sessions.1 point

That's also very today - OH f**k. That means woke stuff. This show is a goner.1 point

The funny part is - they are trying to show they are "Far better story-tellers" who have "A Grand vision and can tell the absolute best story that will also be very today" than the guy who literally was an inventor of the entire genre (Modern High Fantasy), who was a master of languages, and was so good that he literally created his own full fledged language, and one of the most detailed and fleshed-out world in fiction ever. Yeah, no hopes from this show. Especially after they successfully butchered Wheel of Time to the point that the entire story itself is completely different and qualifies for "Multi-Million Dollar Fan-Fiction" rather than an adaptation. Not interested in either of these shows (Rings of Power or Wheel of Time Season 2). Hopefully, next adaptation onwards HBO picks it up, rather than Amazon/Netflix. At least GoT stayed true to the books (Till the time there were books to adapt).1 point

Thor 4 is a mediocre movie. Overdo of jokes & that too lame. I already went with low expectation but still disappointment. Wasted my time & money at theaters. Suggestion - Wait for OTT release. It's a one time watch. Ragnarok was far better than this. Christian bale was fantastic. He too would be disappointed with this sh*t movie.1 point

I currently use a Sony WH-1000XM4. IT is fantastic, both during flights and specially during office. MY last pair of gaming headphones was Astro A 20, that I got back in 2011 and now have gone Kaput. MY desktop was hooked to a Bose Wave player that my cat pushed off the shelf in a fit of anger / curiosity / something else and it shattered. So currently making do with my wife's JBL portable speaker hooked up but the sound is meh, so will probably start searching for a set of good speakers pretty soon. TV is hooked to Denon 250 BT + DALI Oberon 7s. Planning to get a center channel in November1 point

Went and watched The Black Phone at the theatre. I really liked it a fair bit. Noir, horror, thriller - with a kid at the center cuz thats the best way to do it with a very interesting premise. Much better bang for my buck than f**king Thor. @STICK3Rboyit was quite good! I think I've seen like 6 movies at the cinema hall in the past month haha. Would have gone for The Gray Man as well but will netflix it. In this case I have read the book and I think Netflix has f**ked up the source material, per usual.1 point

There was but won't be anymore. Data suggests so. It all starts from the chip manufacturers. These guys placed huge orders to the fabs in order to stablise the supply chain which has been constrained for over 2 years, assumption was that demand will continue to increase. But now that supply is finally ready to hit the market, demand is either flat or drying up due to inflation and recession woes. With the crypto slump, demand in pretty much every asset & commodity class has gone down. Check RM prices, fallen off the cliff. Hence, excess supply is coming to the market. For example, AMD and Nvidia placed gigantic orders to TSMC but because of crypto bubble burst, are now cutting MSRPs overnight. You can check on Newegg, Amazon etc. TSMC refused to cut orders, they are only allowing them to delay it by a quarter. Same thing is happening with TV manufacturers, they also ordered increased amounts of chips and increased their glass production. But instead of demand going up, demand is flat or decreasing. Good time to buy. I don't expect huge discounts but I don't expect less discounts either.1 point

Just played this little gem called "last day of June" from the catalog. Wanted to play this since long as I loved the creator's previous game but never got a chance. It's a short 3~5 hour title about a couple & an event that occurs in their life. The game is basically the husband re-living that moment over and over again but through the eyes of different members of his small hamlet and trying to change the course of events by their actions. Game makes you teary eyed during the climax and the payoff is absolutely worth it. Very very highly recommend.1 point

What does camera angle and bossfights have anything to do with libtards? Unless you mean they won't have sex mini-games for 14 year olds to jerk off to.1 point
