I moved to a new house and completely revamped the game room compared to the previous one I posted last year! I've come a long way since I started this thread 5 years ago. It's been a fun journey. Met lots of people along the way. I think this is my final setup. No energy to go beyond this. Gaming on a 120" screen with 5.1 speakers is really something else. The room is closed with no windows. Well, not necessarily the only reason for reduction in weight. They moved from 6nm process from 7nm in this revision which alone will reduce the size of silicon. This change in fabrication might be one of the reasons behind the increased price but it will result in better availability of chips and supply will improve. Beyond this, we cant assume that reduction in heatsink will cause more heat because this is 3rd revision, they have revised the model already last year where people were again quick to jump the gun and were calling for Sony's head but an exhaustive test from Gamernexus showed that sony reduced the weight and actually improved the thermals. So I would wait for the review of new model by Gamernexus before jumping the gun again based on just hearing few things here and there.

What the heck is the context for this? "Fans" only have a say insofar as they buy the game or not. Canon is always determined by Sony/ND (And Neil Druckmann so long as he is a part of ND).

Yep, ninty4eva lol! The projector has a rated lag of 50ms. More than enough for my gaming needs. I'm not into crazy fast moving FPS so it's good enough for me. House has a central ventilation system (I'm in the US now, moved here along with my collection a few years ago). This is Samsung's flagship projector specially designed for movies. And it's 4K. It's not one of the cheap office projectors most people are used to It's an RGB triple laser 4K projector and color gamut is equal to OLED. Only thing it can't achieve is the OLED black levels. I also got a special 120" screen for it to enhance the black levels. Overall it's extremely close to a 120" 4K OLED TV so there's no way I'm going to downgrade to 70" To get a better idea you can search for reviews on Samsung LSP9T ultra short throw projector. Also, all the seats in the sofas are actually powered recliners so no need for extra footrests. And the middle seat in the 3-seater folds out into a table with cupholders so it's all taken care of already

Got TCL C825 Mini Led 55" for 1150 AUD (65K INR) for bedroom. Fantastic quality, especially for the price. It is no OLED, but close to it. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a tv here and can get it for 80-85k. Comes with an in-built sound bar. Sound quality is really really good. Also comes with a camera (removable) which can be used for video call.

Did they move to 6nm? That should result in PS5 slim. Not a 500gm lighter machine.

If they moved to 6nm then weight reduction makes sense. They might even ditch liquid metal.

Amazing setup. I really like the comfy sofa. If I were you, I would also place a foot rest, and a small table for snacks. I also suggest you replace the projector screen with a 70 inch UHD LED screen. The image quality of a projector does not do justice to modern 4k games. Avoid QLED as users have reported burn-in (image retention) issues with long hours use.

Honestly, I don't remember much of the previous episodes, save for a few from Negan's initial story-arc. Each time I start a new season, I need a recap of what happened last time. There were some good moments later on and season 11 started off quite well, but the 2nd part kind of went in a rather odd direction. Anyway, I think it's still decent and being the final season, I think it deserves a full viewing (for completion's sake at least ).

No. They aren't good. Get Hisense U6G. Under 50k it's the best tv in terms of PQ.

I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii U. About 130 hours in and close to completing the main story. This game is super polished and extremely impressive. Absolutely HUGE open world and no loading screens unless you fast travel. You can get to any point on the map. It's exactly like Zelda BotW and no surprises there because Monolith Soft used their experience to help Nintendo craft BotW.

Guess what came in mail today. Probably one of the first few SteamDecks to arrive in India.

Quite a lot of purchases over the last 2-3 months. Sold off my 3DS XLs (multiple), one of the PS Vita, and a Wii U that I owned since I realized I am not going to get time to play them. Then decided to put the money into buying more games and stuff for which I may not have enough time for. I know it's paradoxical, but I've accepted that about myself 1. PC upgrade The first major upgrade is the PC. Sold my Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super, Antec EAG 650W and purchased the following: - Corsair RM850 PSU - Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC 12GB - Western Digital 850 1TB - APC 2000VA UPS Edit: I also swapped out the cooler fan on my CM Hyper 212 with a Noctua NF-F12. 2. Nintendo Switch games & accessories Then went on to make a ton of purchases for the Switch. Physical Games: - Metroid Dread - Pokemon Arceus - Animal Crossing - Luigi's Mansion 3 - Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Furty - Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Astral Chain - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Digital Games: - Witcher 3 with DLC - Hades - Ni No Kuni - Wrath of the White Witch - Hollow Knight - Burnout Paradise Also got the Spigen Armored case + Spigen Grip for the NSW OLED. 3. New TV and changes to the working space | Samsung QN90B 50 To do justice to the PC, finally got a dedicated setup for my personal PC. I used to have both my work and office PC on the same desk and I was unable to get over my mind block to relax in the same space / use the same desk and monitor. Far from ideal, but decided to get a Samsung QN90B 50 inch TV and mount it on the opposite wall. Moved the PS5 to the same space as well. - Got a simple table mate / portal table on which I use a basic wireless Logitech Keyboard and Mouse for now. The eventual plan is to get a 60 keys wireless mechanical keyboard and a decent wireless mouse. I don't play a lot using KB + Mouse - so may skip this entirely.
