  5. Skill up: I can't tell you what The Last of Us is worth to you, but I can tell you that this is anything but a cash grab. No one will doubt the earnestness with which Naughty Dog sought to honor the legacy of this game, or the fans who love it so. https://twitter.com/skillupyt/status/1564991651034136582?s=21&t=tQl5zspxh87zzAf20b9mvw

  7. Me and kiddo had a day off today, and he wanted to watch a movie in 4DX, Thor was still playing, so we went to saw it. what a sh*t show, absolutely garbage, total waste of money and time, wish it had gone off the theatres, money would have got saved. Felt like it was directed by some one who has been given a lot of money and told do what ever you want and he made the movie half drunk. I am done with marvel movies.

  9. Just finished watching this excellent movie called Watcher. Tense, suspenseful, and brilliantly shot, it uses a very low-key approach to let paranoia and uneasiness seep into you. By the end I found myself at the edge of my seat, dreading to see what was around every corner. There are a couple of things that felt a little illogical to me, but the movie is so well made that I was able to look past them fairly quickly. It's easily one of the best movies of the year IMO. Highly recommended if you're into atmospheric, slow-burn thrillers.

  12. ^^Very well summed up! This reminds me of how amazing the storytelling was in this game. Best of all time IMO! The reason why there is even hate for the story in a game is enough to say delivered fantastically!

  13. Both the TLOU games are oppressive AF. Definitely a testament to ND's prowess, but its so damn heavy you dread having to play them again. I've played both just once. Ive endeavoured to replay 1 before 2 was released and just couldn't. Ive restarted 2 again a couple of times and just couldn't carry on.. After 2 I was so down it kept playing on my mind for at least a week. It left me in awe of how much it touched me. That ending

  15. Got TCL C825 Mini Led 55" for 1150 AUD (65K INR) for bedroom. Fantastic quality, especially for the price. It is no OLED, but close to it. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a tv here and can get it for 80-85k. Comes with an in-built sound bar. Sound quality is really really good. Also comes with a camera (removable) which can be used for video calls

  17. PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Quest 2 VR …. Now, this feels like the natural full circle (since Steam Deck is out of reach) …. Nintendo Switch OLED, my first ever Nintendo product. I have had Sega Mega Drive II and Atari system back in late 80s/early 90s (I’m 84 born), but never had any Nintendo console. This feels differently special.

  18. Shhh, I'm at the climax fight now, where the hero fight off against a bunch of henchmen only to realise they were just 3D holograms/illusions

  19. So, watching this movie called heropanti2 , here's a snippet - so the hero, who's a hacker kills one of the villains by hacking his pacemaker and connecting it to a video game (one of those mortal Kombat types), and gifts it to the villains' family. So the family is busy playing the game and everytime the in game charcter punches/kicks the other one, the villains heart gets affected and finally the villain dies in real life when the family wins the level in that game! I'm speechless....?

  24. Ok, I genuinely thought Sony would limit the essential monthly games to small titles that no one cared for, after the new tier launch. But this is good, they're still giving out great games almost every month.

  27. Finally yesterday I sat and watched a movie that's not a marvel/dc thing. Last Night In Soho Big fan of Edgar Wright and I like the actors in it so this made sense to watch. Very stylish movie, music was great. Anya Taylor Joys acting was especially great, loved seeing her perform. Looked very nice too The rest of the actors were ok. The main lead i didn't like, but she was supposed to just act scared/worried most of the time so I understand. During the movie i enjoyed it. Was along for the ride. But after it ended and i started thinking about it, there were just too many plotholes. The ending twist also was very weird and kind of ruined the themes the movie was trying to stick to. 7/10

  28. In general it's a good idea to only dock with no cover on. Switch is meant to be docked without cover. While docking your Seitch also gets charged, and if you dock it with cover - it will get too hot. If you want to play Switch docked, remove all cover and preferably remove the Joycons also (whether you are using the Joyce's or Pro Controller- which I highly recommend).

  29. Yes, it cannot be docked. I switch between this and Hori Split pad pro. Use Hori while at home, planning to use this case along with the spigen travel pouch when moving around

  30. Lead combat designers Mihir Sheth and Denny Yeh have over 17 years of God of War experience shared between them, and both played prominent roles in the previous game's success. The series' current direction is inspired by an old studio motto: Playing with your food. "That's an internal philosophy that we've had since back in the day," Sheth says. "Kratos plays with his food. We tried to create systems you want to engage with that are fun, very playful, lots of different routes. And when we looked at the combat in the last game, we were like, 'We can push this further; we can find new toys and ways of playing with enemies and strategies.' That's been the guiding principle more than anything else." For seven minutes, I follow Kratos and Atreus across an enclosed arena chockful of explosive pots, advantageous high ground, wooden platforms, and bipedal lizards called Grims. The pair move in unison. Kratos pins a beast against the rock wall and then comes down on its skull with Olympian strength. Atreus fills stagger bars while locking enemies in place with sonic arrows. When a "Cursed" Grim tries to catch the bulky father off-guard, firing toxic bile from its swollen gullet, Kratos sidesteps the phlegm and masterfully deflects a second flurry with his arm shield. He throws his axe at a pot tucked between boxes, and the corner instantly erupts into flames, sending scaly appendages everywhere. Atreus demonstrates he's as much a powerhouse as his father, swinging at unsuspecting Grims with his bow while always repositioning to shoot. The two notice a few stragglers perched above, and in one fluid motion, the god-slayer latches onto the ridge with his Blades of Chaos, climbs the structure, stomps on a healthstone for extra flair, and launches the remaining creatures into the sky. This adrenaline rush is tied to the versatility of Kratos' kit. The battle axe and chain blades increase maneuverability and power, but a misleadingly small-scale change to the Triangle button makes all the difference. "In the last game, if you pressed Triangle, you recalled the axe," Sheth says. "But if you already had the axe, nothing happened. If you had the Blades of Chaos and you pressed Triangle, you just went back to the axe. We looked at that concept and wondered, 'What if you could do something a little bit different with that button – a whole new suite of moves.'" Triangle attacks are officially called Weapon Signature Moves. Depending on whether you have the Leviathan Axe or Blades of Chaos readied, Kratos can infuse the sharpened steel with ice or fire. These elemental moves, called "Frost Awaken" and "Whiplash," do extra damage by freezing or incinerating aggressors. The shield is revamped, too. Yeh walked me through the pros and cons of the new Dauntless and Stonewall Shields, occasionally reminding me that the team wanted players to tailor their gameplay to immediate needs. The Dauntless Shield is all about twitch reactions. By parrying at the last possible moment, Kratos' shield glows a menacing red, signaling the player can unleash a devastating smash that tosses and stuns enemies. Dissimilarly, the Stonewall Shield is for tank-lovers that prefer slower-paced bouts. Kratos can't parry when equipped with the Stonewall, so keeping it raised is crucial to surviving barrages. The more hits the Stonewall Shield takes, the more kinetic energy it absorbs. And once it's fully charged, players can bang the shield into the ground emitting a screen-wide pulse, knocking anything foolish enough to approach off its feet. And once it's fully charged, players can bang the shield into the ground emitting a screen-wide pulse, knocking anything foolish enough to approach off its feet. But all that protection comes at a cost. The Stonewall Shield becomes increasingly unstable as it takes damage, opening Kratos up to otherwise ineffective block-breaking blitzes. Yeh says Kratos will have access to other powerful shields but warned players not to bite off more than they could chew: "Maybe don't play with all your food, because there will be food that can eat you pretty easily." Both designers confirm enemy aggression and lethality would be heightened on harder difficulties, but players still need to keep their wits about them regardless of selected settings. Old locations are periodically repopulated with more powerful fauna, and optional territories could be tough without a stronger crew. Yeh mentions that fans of realm tears will get a comparable sense of gratification from besting some of Ragnarök's formidable side content. There's no word on whether Kratos will obtain other primary weapons, but last year's trailer unveiled an elk runic summon for Atreus to ride, so, hopefully, we'll see other new abilities soon. 32. Yep, ninty4eva lol! The projector has a rated lag of 50ms. More than enough for my gaming needs. I'm not into crazy fast moving FPS so it's good enough for me. House has a central ventilation system (I'm in the US now, moved here along with my collection a few years ago). This is Samsung's flagship projector specially designed for movies. And it's 4K. It's not one of the cheap office projectors most people are used to It's an RGB triple laser 4K projector and color gamut is equal to OLED. Only thing it can't achieve is the OLED black levels. I also got a special 120" screen for it to enhance the black levels. Overall it's extremely close to a 120" 4K OLED TV so there's no way I'm going to downgrade to 70" To get a better idea you can search for reviews on Samsung LSP9T ultra short throw projector. Also, all the seats in the sofas are actually powered recliners so no need for extra footrests. And the middle seat in the 3-seater folds out into a table with cupholders so it's all taken care of already

  34. Well, not necessarily the only reason for reduction in weight. They moved from 6nm process from 7nm in this revision which alone will reduce the size of silicon. This change in fabrication might be one of the reasons behind the increased price but it will result in better availability of chips and supply will improve. Beyond this, we cant assume that reduction in heatsink will cause more heat because this is 3rd revision, they have revised the model already last year where people were again quick to jump the gun and were calling for Sony's head but an exhaustive test from Gamernexus showed that sony reduced the weight and actually improved the thermals. So I would wait for the review of new model by Gamernexus before jumping the gun again based on just hearing few things here and there.
