That's too bad I guess. Nintendo is the number 1 video game company in most parts of the world. Especially in their biggest markets North America and Europe. And adults are their biggest consumers more than kids. So Nintendo definitely knows a thing or two on what makes a good game. Anyone who thinks Nintendo is for kids are missing out on some of the best gaming experiences available.

It can. You can explore different time periods in a country and can provide a distinct look and feel to it. Hence you have a Victorian era London in an Assassin's Creed game looking very different from the modern day one in Watch Dogs game. For instance, I'm playing Tsushima right now and it has a war torn look to most of it's areas and other areas ranging from wide open fields to snowy mountains. Lot of the times the world feels empty, but that's not a bad thing and it perfectly encompasses the desolated setting of the Mongol invasion/brutality. Ubisoft can explore a different region, different theme and make it interesting in their own way. If you look at Odyssey, they nailed the look of ancient Greece. For all the flak Ubisoft gets, they create spectacular environment and world. We just have to wait and watch out for more details on what part of Feudal Japan they are exploring.

For the highlighted part- only designated bots make such vile comments. Any serious gamer would not consider Nintendo games as kiddy in any ways. Heck they are more complex than some games costing ~ $500 million from other companies. Regarding broader appeal- this can be debated. Switch sold in millions due to two reasons. First was the price and second was the form factor ie handheld. You can play full fledged aaa first party games handheld which amplified its appeal. Nintendo has first movers advantage in first world nations, no question about that, but so does sony (in 2022). In my personal opinion, golden days of Nintendo were gcube / wii era (in terms of variety and number of exclusives/FP games launched). Switch era is still not done so the jury is still out.

when you say you have pure unadulterated hate for a game - no one will believe you are just sharing pro's & cons as a gamer . Also cut the crap about helping others. this game is on PS5 only - something which you don't own as of now - you may buy it for GOW-R or you may not . (As per your own admission) The ones who decided to get a PS5 can also decide whether to buy this game or not..

Odyssey is by far the best of the three IMO with some fun mythological DLC to boot. Just make sure to choose Kassandra as your playable character. That said though, all three are bloated games (Valhalla being the worst offender). You can get burned out pretty quickly if you spend too much time on side quests.

brahmastra is a big big dud. so much money was wasted on the vfx & despite the good quality none of them standout or help the action sequences or film. not one single action setpiece will be remembered once the show's over or even go viral like RRR or 2.0. its just random effects going all over with zero creativity. total waste of crores & crores of rs. & the whole movie itself is an love story and has absolutely nothing to do with indian mythology or lore except using the word astra with everything. the bigger inspiration is from doctor strange, anime or even captain planet. and the ending is a joke, the greatest weapon to be ever written about gets defeated by the power of love in a few mins . the astra weilding people themselves are shown like a bunch of clowns & get beaten up by random nobodies & any sadakchap can come and use the astras once he gets his hands on it. and bc how did the director and producer even approve the dialogues in this movie. from tapori munnabhai like dialogues at the start to absolute sh*t lines like "woh jo 3 triangle joint hoke pizza banta hai" (referring to the brahmastra). a good concept that is ruined by the usual bollywood love story and lack of research. in the hands of a more visionary & capable directors like Rajamouli or Shankar this could have been the start of something exciting for Indian cinema but after this I'll be very surprised if part 2 of this movie ( title revealed at the end) goes into full production.

Finished Thor. What a stupid movie. Turned Thor into a complete clown in first half and ending is absolutely pathetic. Wtf were they thinking I am glad I didn't pay for this crap in theaters. 3/10
