That's too bad I guess. Nintendo is the number 1 video game company in most parts of the world. Especially in their biggest markets North America and Europe. And adults are their biggest consumers more than kids. So Nintendo definitely knows a thing or two on what makes a good game. Anyone who thinks Nintendo is for kids are missing out on some of the best gaming experiences available.5 points

Ever since Nintendo started being a topic in this thread, the quality of discussions and arguments went up twofold. Says a lot who are actually behaving like kids4 points

There are better options as well which are close to local sim many times. Check https://esimdb.com/ Is very convenient. Main issue is that most of these are data only plans. Though if you use an iPhone, I’ve heard that it can use it as a replacement for wifi in VoWifi and thus resolve that too1 point

Get cartridges from local sellers. Much cheaper than Amazon M2X etc. Most new 1st party will be between 3700-4200. 3rd party will be a little cheaper. You can get small cartridge storage boxes online. Most can hold 12-18 cartridges at once. Small abd sleek.1 point

Seriously ? I went to multiple treks past year and more than 50% of phones were iPhones. None of them had a secondary phone. One group had 80% iPhones.1 point

If I may be so bold and say it, I guess, there's a chance of a backlash or "boycott" (in recent terminology) even if the tiniest part of some big concepts (like religion, history, etc.) are portrayed with some creative freedom and different from how people think of said concept. I'm not saying it can't be done, but it's a thin line. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy handled it very well, obviously and there was no backlash, etc. If I was a game-dev, I'd be most concerned about who I'm offending with what part of the game, etc. Thankfully, games (especially the big-budget AAA ones) are still not as mass-market as movies, but if any big media outlet picks up some sort of negative point from a trailer or something, then it won't take long for "#[InsertGameNameHere]" to start trending on Twitter. As a developer, publisher, gamer, that's the last thing I'd want. So, I won't blame devs if they'd want to avoid the Indian settting altogether. The only setting I can think of, which might avoid any controversy/drama is something post-apocalyptic like TLoU or Horizon, no religion or historical accuracy ka jhanjhat.1 point

I've tried only flexiroam so far once. My personal phone doesn't support esim so had tried it with an office pixel phone. It worked fine but i plan to try out airalo next month after i get a new phone for myself.1 point

More like there has never been a game with Indian setting. Since you're focusing on Open World - tell me the last open world game you remember with Indian Setting? I can think of none - and that's thinking from the time of PS1. Devs have never made an open world game set in India. They have never experimented, and hence don't know whether customers will like it or not. It's the same for China tbqh. It was only when the Chinese Market grew too big to ignore that Devs started making games set in China. Japanese Devs were the only ones making games set in Japan for the longest time. It was only after JRPGs became big - that proved customers wanted Japanese settings that Western devs did Japan (Still a minority to this day). Western Devs seem to do only what is comfortable to them. That means - EU/US and even Fantasy is EU Middle Ages (With Magic) and Sci-Fi is US with more shiny guns blasting lasers instead of bullets (As established by Star Wars). I can't think of a single time where devs did settings like India. We have to wait for Indian Gaming Development Induster to catch up I guess (If it ever will).1 point

The right deserving team won. SL was too hungry to win and Pakistan was too afraid to lose that's why they could never stay in the game and just played catch up. It's good for world cricket that SL is back with a good team.1 point

Before you reply to this guy again, know that he doesn’t own either a ps5, or an xsx or a switch. He just makes comments on the internet which are mostly stupid, nonsense and illogical at best1 point

Heads-up for a mind blowing offer on Samsung TVs. If you are a corporate employee (I suppose most of us are), Samsung is giving amazing discounts. Just to check I looked at price of QN95B and QN90B. Look at the price below (I work at Citibank and all it did was to send an OTP on my official mail ID to confirm, so at least Citi is eligible for this)- QN95B regular price- 195000, QN95B corporate employee price- 160000, 35k difference QN90B regular price- 170000, QN90B corporate employee price- 140000, 30k difference And regular offers can be applied on top of these, so you can get QN95B in 1.5L after other offers. And a phone worth 24k free. These are great deals. Also, this corporate employee thing applies to all Samsung electronics. I wish I had known about it a few weeks back when I got a new Samsung phone.1 point

Yo Hawky! Good to see you back on the Hitman track man. I have been meaning to get back into it myself but too caught up with all the other backlog I had on my plate. For a stealth assassins like you, I'd say this is a heavenly treat. I had only tried the Paris level back when it first launched, but never managed to get back as the episodic release part p*ssed me off. But from what I remember, there is so much freedom now and you have so many ways to pick and choose how to eliminate your targets. While the earlier Hitman games were our jam back in the day, this is a completely new breed of openness. The areas are freakin' large and I thought the crowd density in Absolution was crazy, but that's nothing compared to these games. What system are you playing on? PC? I still remember playing through Absolution on our Suit-only run, it was a nightmare. Remember the 'Attach of the Saints' mission? Man, it was something else. It's such a shame that game got a bad rap, but it was definitely one of the more darker stylized Hitman game. Hope there is a level like that in one of these newer games that let's us go through cornfields or something like that. Just keep hammering away and let me know how you're experience turns out to be. Good luck Agent 47!1 point

Marvel makes sh*t movies and people praise. People just hate hindi movies for the sake of it. It's a great movie. Everything is good, only some unnecessary love story plot but overall excellent movie. -Said my friend last night after watching Brahmastra.1 point

when you say you have pure unadulterated hate for a game - no one will believe you are just sharing pro's & cons as a gamer . Also cut the crap about helping others. this game is on PS5 only - something which you don't own as of now - you may buy it for GOW-R or you may not . (As per your own admission) The ones who decided to get a PS5 can also decide whether to buy this game or not..1 point

^^^ And that's despite the price hike, they'll probably have a bumper christmas, that target doesn't seem out of reach if so. And showcase is near too (hopefully). Well deserved imo, PS has been consistently pumping out top notch games since launch.1 point
