The appeasement aspect is there, yes. It's not perfect. But the thing is, reservation was never meant to be a poverty alleviation scheme. I just checked the game's subreddit and apparently someone bought notebooks for the classes they might attend in Hogwarts. I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed lol. Ya true, wih each big game taking 4-5 years to develop, and SONY going all in on live services, and their one of the few 2023 exclusive being such a dud, it looks kinda worrying. But no worries, they will probably eek out some anti-consumer deals to keep games off other platforms, they very good at it.

Completed the story. What a game, it doesn't hit the same peak as Part 1 but a wholly different peak imo. The mostly extended gameplay from Part 1 is so buttery smooth. And so much bigger and longer than Part 1, loved the entire experience. Don't think there is any game out there that evokes so many emotions and with such veracity. Also, the graphics, attention to detail and fidelity, it's no surprise Sonys competitor wrote an internal document about why the game and Naughty Dog are a generation ahead. What ND and Dr. Uckmann conjures with the PS5 for LoU Part 3 will be nothing short of magical.

There are several factors to consider 1) usually anyone’s 1st Fromsoft game feels the hardest because they are not used to such games 2) Sekiro maybe objectively the hardest game because there is no way to side-step the need to git good or to really improve your skills. Also it has a high number of truly challenging bosses 3) Bloodborne is a close 2nd with hard DLC bosses 4) Rest all can be bunched together. From these games, only certain bosses stand our as being hard such as Malenia, Darkeater Midir, Sister Friede, Maliketh, etc. In these games, magic builds can be OP and break the game’s difficulty
