Master chief and Marcus are either dead or in vegetative state. Overwatch and CoD are multiplat. Doomslayer and Wolfenstein are good, however their respective arcs are over, gods know when they'll move forward. Jimbo had destiny which is also a multiplat. Resistance and Killzone haven't been seen for over a decade, could be right time to give those IPs a shot. Apart form these there's whatever Deviation is working on for PS.

Nothing in this looks or feels current gen.

Just speculating here: The way they're calling it a 'platform' makes me wonder if they'll let go of the yearly releases and just keep updating the same game with updates, kinda like PES did with e-Football. Either way, going by official social media responses from the clubs shows that most major teams are going to be a part of this. Only the ones who have some kind of exclusivity with e-Football (PES) might not be in this. Too soon to say, at the moment.
