I dont hate Game pass. I like the service. Its a good service which really saves money for consumers. I don't think Game pass should be blame for badly design games. Its the studios fault and the management under which studio works. If tomorrow Game pass is removed, will quality improve magically no? You need good leadership at studios, someone like Niel Druxkmann or Cory Barlog who can guide studios to make quality stuff single player or GaaS don't matter. It should be polished and fun product. Some of MS studios lack good leadership imo. If they want to make a GaaS game for Gamepass? Go for it but make a good one which is polished and fun. I enjoyed Gears 5 and Forza games, they were nothing spectacular or any unique games but they were polished and fun. Same goes for smaller games like HiFi Rush and all. What pissies me off is unfinished rushed job games who are just bad at every level like Crackdown 3 and Redfall now. Delay as much as you want but make sure quality is good.

Gave it a fair shot, played for 4 hrs. I am thinking this is a GAAS title day 1 release. They removed a ton of stuff that would indicate as such after Suicide Squad debacle. Map is like a huge Arkane level. It's open world but you don't just press a stick to reach your objective. It needs some exploration to do. Gun fights and gameplay loop is quiet engaging. Also the puzzles are truly elaborate, Sea of Thieves style. Game obviously expects you to spend a ton of time to figure it all out eventually. They need to do a whole bunch of rebalancing wrt loot, encounter placement etc. And fix all visual bugs and glitches. It will be awesome after that
