Okay lemme put it, I've worked in apparel sector for a long period of time and during this I've liaised with Ecom retailers like FK, Myntra & Amazon while working with apparel manufacturing brand(including shoe companies). As long as I was in the that sector (Until late 2016) there were no formal way of limiting an ecom retailer to stick with 'our discount' model. It's only on a mutual basis/ best effort basis. Legally if the brand tries to arm-twist the ecom portal or threatens to discontinue supply based on this, it will constitute an offence. Second, there are supply of kinda inferior shoes (not necessarily inferior but certainly corners cut in manufacturing) , produced in India or at some other low cost center and ecom retailers bulk buy these styles as their bread and butter model. Even in stores you have sections where shoes will be economical/heavily discounted but workmanship/quality will be a tad off. Look at the merchandise on lower shelves. Third, over a period of time, old style SKUs get accumulated and they are sent to factory outlet/smaller trade outlet shops in smaller cities/ around highways at a throw away price sometimes in flat rate against number of pairs/weight. Cost per pair in these lot can be as low as Rs 300 a pair against something that might be marked at 6K or even higher. Fourth, its only third party resellers that will have fakes and there's a very very slim probability of fakes making into official seller's inventory unless it gets mixed up at some warehouse/ staff collusion which isn't that common or at a scale which can be perceived to be serious problem. I haven't been in this sector for long time but if needed I can get further clarification if someone is curious.

I feel this is an unfortunate side effect of GamePass, applying to AAA games especially. Some players brushing a trash game like Redfall under the rug, and the devs who put out shitty statements after 5 year development, when other dev studios have given major blockbusters in the same time frame. Devs can half-a*s their work, there's no sales to worry about and no bonus tied to sales performance either, they'll just put out a sad story about how difficult it is and they'll fix it in time, GP gamers are content with that since it's at no extra cost. It's a circle of feeding crap to each other between devs and GP gamers. Also, Trashfall active count on steam is less than 500. No I am not missing a zero

How bots cope with Nintendo sales.

60+ hrs spent over the last 3+ months and this is unlike anything I've ever played. I dont like JRPGs much, especially those with turn-based combat, dont like sims or visual novel based games and still loved this game to bits. So many options during the turn based combat, even during the much longer boss fights quite a few decisions you have to take, to keep it interesting. I can zip past many of the usual mundane tasks in a jrpg and that saves so much time. Then the amazing characters with superb personalities, relatable, loveable and provide unique benefits in combat later. Never have I ever remembered so many Japanese names while playing a game. The gameplay loop of infiltrating the palaces, classes, confidant and social skill related activities is so so addictive. However, all this came to a screeching halt against Okumura boss. Such an irritating and boring fight as if some intern(that too a bad one) had designed it. Tried twice, reached till 5th wave max and now have lost all interest to go back. I was about 5 levels below the recommended level as well. Will take a break and hopefully will regain interest in this. If not, I feel like I've already got much more than I've paid for the game.

I also think the NB, Saucony shoes are genuine on FK at least their premium running models. Saucony for sure does not have any fakes specially their premium running shoes like Endorphin Speed/Tempus etc. Their fakes simply dont exist because it is very niche. NB has fakes for their fashion models or basic models again their premium running models not so much. I have been a very happy FK customer for these shoes because the deal is almost always brilliant and FK is a runners delight. How can the fakes have the exact same ride and foam ? Those are patented technologies and impossible to copy. I am 100% sure a runner will know from the cushioning and impact if the shoes are fake. Heck, 300-400 kms later my NB and Saucony are still going strong from FK no glue issues no stitching issues. Yes you can make fake shoes that can look exactly the same but perform exactly the same is something I don't think is possible. I think we are good with niche shoes and brands.

Just because it is a GaaS title, doesn't mean day 1 audience is useless. Fact of the matter is, this game has nothing unique to offer anyone. Even once the technical issues are fixed, it is a pipe dream to think that people would then suddenly start playing the game. Sea of Thieves was a unique game. It had something new and fresh to offer, that is why it has the sustaining power. Moreover, issues around it were purely lack of content. Whereas Redfall has extremely negative reception which includes the game being bland and meh, over the technical issues.

Day 1 impressions are what matter bhai. Im not touching / caring about it if i dont like it on the day i play it.

Skyrim. Had forgotten how good RPGs can be. This has that old school charm. Just freed an old king from prison and started rioting/ civil war in one of the districts. All city guards are dead now. Just one of the side quests. Almost all of them are elaborate and game world changing like that. In retrospect I now find it funny that people choose to focus on animation and lip syncing in a game like this. Like, there is an option for developers to make it as good as action games in a massive game like this.
