im currently using a 6200 but had a 5200 in the past .... i play cs 1.6 ....

^^ i upgrade every 1yr and a half or so ... but this time il be upgrading after 2-2.5 yrs minimum ....
so i think il go for the 8600 with the quad core and 4gb ram

@ sam ... iv applied for 3 hathway conxn 2x256 and 1.512 ( for my room) and tht guy promised me 128kbps download speed and 128kbps upload speed .... i dont understand how thts possible as on a 512 conxn one should get bout 70kbps down/up....
- the guy claims tht my area has a lot of bandwidth and less subscribers .... + the local police station uses hathway for their cyber crime branch (which is true) and hence the service is very good .... blah blah....

Go for a 22" Screen rather than 19" . LG has these sweet new panels which have 5000:1 contrast ratio and 4ms response time i think. They look pretty sexy. If you are still planning to go with a 19" screen, then get a Samsung. I am currently using a 19" Samsung monitor which is amazing. Performance is brilliant, response time is pretty fast too. Its HDCP Compliant and has DVI too.
im not going for the 22" for the simple reason tht my pc is gonna be right next to my tv which is anyways 40" and its not necessary and will be a bit too much .... (was gonna go for a 17" lcd but the diff in price between 17 and 19 is like 1-1.5k

@ CC my heart lies with pc gaming .... spent god noz how much on it .... but have decided to stop .... hence the gfx card doesnt matter .... mainly i play cs on the pc .... and nowadays rarely .... and tht runs on max settings on a geforce 5200 also .... so i dont really care bout the gfx card.... "D

^ thts a huge price difference .... i think il go for tht ver the later more exp one .... (and pc gaming isnt tht big an issue for mew as i decided last year to totally stop pc gaming as the exp were too high in keeping on upgrading the gfx card .... hence il rely on my consoles for gaming .... im just impatient thts why all i want is a super fast pc ....

i dont want a high end one .... thts y im taking the above .... cuz its good enough for my room and + i dont wanna waste money as im already getting a new pc and the sony x-series .... ( iv bought the tv but waiting to buy the pc)
P.S- i cant wait to play on 1080p .... itll rock compared to the current sdtv im playing on .... and to make the experience sweeter iv yet not gotten tempted to connect my x360 to my LG 32" tht my parents gave my grandparents on their 50th anniversary

its the gladiator model its priced at 25-27k in india .... its includes 5 speakers an amp with 3 optical ins and the other usual stuff ... this amp is the same 1 supplied with a few higher models of onkyo systems ....
- i no onkyo is very good and i have an old onkyo atm tht i bought like in 2000 or sumtyn .... and iv also seen the demo of the model im buying .... and i liked it .... loud enough for me ...
but today this guy was saying dont buy tht system etc etc .... (shop keeper)
so was jus reconfirming ....

ok iv gotta order my new pc sometime this week .... latest friday-saturday.... and this is the config i think im gonna go for ....

we get 1mbps + in my area .... bit it costs 2.4k a month unlimited .... and 2 mbps/month is 4k or sumtyn .... but tht has a dl limit ... something like 50gb transfer or sumtyn....

i use exatt 256 unlimited .... but from the 21st im shifting to jhaatway 512kbps unlimited as my new place area is under jhaatway ....
but they promise constant speeds but upload speed will be less he said.... thts the bummer
