the game has glitches. had one in the 3rd mission itself. then one more later. both times were when i accidentally did something the game didn't expect me to. wasn't even obscure... these kinds of things should have been caught in testing. nash was telling me he ran into lots of issues too. and when something goes wrong, you have to repeat the entire mission. the game has mid mission checkpoints, but saves only count at the beginning of a mission. how can developers get such basic things wrong in a 2011 game?

How are the controls on pc?
they seem fine so far.
played a few missions. still in the tutorial stage i guess, because they're basically teaching game mechanics. the mission design is awesome at times. game looks dated as hell though. like a 5 year old game would... probably the worst looking open world in quite some time.

wtf. same sh*t happened with the skyrim collector's edition guide as well. when i checked late last night, this dark souls guide was available for 1082 bucks.

the stormcloaks are racist nords who believe skyrim belongs to the nords only. and they discriminate against other races. the imperials believe that all races should co-exist in skyrim, and that it is a part of the empire.
either way, i'd leave this particular choice right up to the end. there's no saying how many quests will get locked out because of this choice and how people start treating you.

yup, the west wing is one of my all time favorites. great writing all the way through to the end of the series.
edit - wow i just remembered the last 10 odd minutes of the season 2 season finale of the show. one of the best season ending episodes i've seen in my life. if you haven't reached there yet, you're in for a treat. definitely one of aaron sorkin's best works.
Almost convinced to try Homeland.
you should. just don't expect a proper drama. as of the last couple of episodes, i'd say the show is part drama and part comedy.

Hey guys I have been playing Skyrim for 5-6 hours and I have a lot of loot to carry with myself but not enough space...
And till now I dont even have a house for myself, so do u know where should I store all this loot cause there are some valuable things in there which I can sell later on when my bartering skills are better...
if you go to the college of winterhold, you will get a room for yourself immediately upon starting the quest chain. you can store it there.
honestly though, there's no point hoarding items now in the hope that you'll get better prices later on. for starters, you'll keep getting items all the time and you can't sell any item to any trader. if there's a shop that deals in armor and weapons, that's the only thing they'll buy. this becomes a problem because each merchant has a fixed amount of money for a day or two, so they'll keep running out of money to buy your accumulated loot. you'll have to keep running around between various traders and shifting days forward just to be sell stuff, which is kind of stupid. and in general, money is not hard to acquire in the game so the bonus 10-20% on prices you get by selling later doesn't really make any difference. just sell the useless stuff as you get it.

Yeah, VGChartz it is. Its very difficult to admit that the most highly anticipated RPG of the year which released on 3 platforms simultaneously sold 3.4 Million copies. Is the game that bad?
it's a fantastic game and no one is doubting that it has sold millions. the issue is that vgchartz pulls numbers out of their a*s. it could be much higher or much lower. they're f**king morons who don't know sh*t about what they're talking about....
oh wait, i just realized why you posted that article.

good to hear. e-xpress is really on the ball with pc releases in the recent past. just 18 months ago, we had to wait 2-4 weeks for the pc version of a game to release (metro 2033 and just cause 2 for example). now we're talking in terms of 2-4 days after worldwide release. good stuff.

btw, i just got my first shout in the first side quest, but cant use it. Am guessing there is a catch to using them shouts?
you can get married in the game.
as for the shout, there are 2 parts to using it. one is learning the word, which you just did. the other thing you have to do is unlock that word by spending a dragon soul on it. you get dragon souls by killing dragons and standing next to their body to absorb it. play the first 2-3 main quest missions and you'll fight a dragon and be able to unlock the word you learned.

here are the glitches that happened -
that mission where you have the uav firing cod style predator missiles down on enemy vehicles to protect your helicopters. i think i accidentally clipped one of the choppers. it was still flying and patrolling though. but the mission never advanced to the point where i get into the chopper and i had to deal with infinitely respawning enemy vehicles until i restarted.
next, that activity where you're in a chopper with a rocket launcher protecting a car on the ground. near the end of that mission, you go on a building and take up a sniper position while hanging off the roof. all that is automated. when my chopper reached the roof, i pressed E to get out of the chopper assuming that i had to do it manually. game glitched out there again and i had to repeat the whole thing.
