Well, at least I can now put the money saved towards MGS HD Collection CE.

bad luck man. guess i dodged a bullet on that one... ordered from amazon along with milo mamu :clap3:

Now it seems the same texture streaming issue may be present in the PS3 version.. :giggle:

    someone just got owned

  2. wtf

i cant finish the companions quest.

1-whyyy???why should i become a werewolf to complete the quest?if i become a werewolf thn how i gonna finish the vampire quest or i wont get it if i become a werewolf.

what r the pros and cons of becoming a werewolf?

2-can i transform into werewolf anytime(limit per day).can i control it?or its like ohhh sheet full moon is out....i am transforming.i dont want anything like this.

3-whn i return back to my human form,i will get all my weapons, shouts, potions, magic etc back right?

plz someone help me with these 3 questions....

    plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :):P

    1. becoming a werewolf is part of the chain. there's no way to do it otherwise. don't worry, you will be given a choice to get rid of it at the end of the chain if you want.

pros - you become a f**king werewolf. increased health in both forms. and you become a f**king werewolf.

cons - you don't get rested xp after sleeping, even in human form. you will be attacked on sight if someone sees you in wolf state. you can't talk to people, pick up items etc. in wolf form. this is quite annoying when you do dungeons as you will have to backtrack to loot bodies.

    2. once per day i believe, and you control when to transform. however, you cannot control when you will return to human form. it takes a few hours of game time, so if you want to end it just wait for a few hours and it will happen.

    3. yea you get everything back.

  3. The leveling up is automatic right? We only have to choose perks.

and one of 3 attributes (magicka which is mana, health and stamina).

i came across the building that was in the first released screenshot of the game...

    for reference

    looks slightly different here

i find myself humming the main theme even when i'm not playing the game. that theme (which was used in the trailer) only plays when you are fighting a dragon. completely epic feeling all the way through.

this is turning out to be one of the greatest games i've played in my life. last time i got this feeling was with assassins creed 2.

  4. Is it true that the dragons are too easy? I've been hearing that complaint a lot.

i wouldn't call them too easy. there are a lot of factors that determine how your fight goes. i consistently blow through mana and health potions while fighting them.. and this is in addition to self healing magic spells. potions, poisons etc. make the fight easier. your character build and your strategy also matters, which in turn is dependent on luck. if you are attacked in an open area, you'll get jacked as there is no cover from the dragon's fire breath. if there's even a little bit of cover, you can los the dragon and pop out for ranged attacks which is the easiest way to fight it. i don't even know how a melee specced character would fight it since it's only on the ground about half the time. i'm guessing a high damage spec melee character can kill it fairly quickly as long as they can survive when it's in the air and attacking from there. and of course, practice affects it also... the more dragons you kill, the better you get at it. my first random dragon took me about 15-20 minutes to kill because i was still figuring out how to fight it. and in my last session i killed 2 of them simultaneously in less time because i knew what the best way for me to fight them is.

  5. Slutty nun :naughty:

this is actually very close to default. i just changed the hair color and eye color then decided i wasn't really interested in customizing any more so i clicked next.

also, why haven't you bought it yet? or are you among the heathen who will play this on consolol??

  6. I very much prefer the X360 controller.. it's much easier to use, especially when navigation menus. For some reason, mouse clicks don't work well in the radial system, I had to resort to WASD before switching to the controller.

The reason is that the ui is working very poorly with the mouse. A controller isn't inherently better for this kind of game, it just feels better here because they did a sh*t job with the mouse controls. This stuff will be fixed with mods.

  7. spin

    heavy armor or light armor?

    pros and cons?

right now i'm using a bastard hybrid of cloth, light and heavy armor. it just so happens that one piece of each is the best in slot item that i have. i will try to remedy that though the next time i have a chance to enchant items. in general though, light is better for casters.

    light armor

pros - uses up less of your inventory weight quota. allows faster movement (and thus kiting). the magic specific enchantments/bonuses are generally found on light armor.

cons - less damage mitigation, obviously.

    heavy armor

pros - much higher damage mitigation.

cons - heavier, you move slower.

Ah Yeah I can see why a 360 controller would be better for this, Duel wielding different stuff on each hand must be quite awkward with the L/R mouse button setup.

it gets a bit confusing actually. left click activates your right hand spell and vice versa. the 360 controller is not really a better choice with it's button reuse... it's just that the ui has not been designed well for use with a mouse.

  8. :majesty:

spin using two hand weapon or one hand weapon?

if u r using one hand weapon which magic spell u got in the other hand?

    HzOLZ.jpg

i'm using magic in both hands :P. right hand has fire or lightning spells and the left hand has frost or healing spells, depending on the situation. i also occasionally use a bow and arrow, which is very fun to play. i also have a dragon shout which sends a shockwave in front of me.

i have a nord character and you can choose the battlecry in your spells and cast it.

  9. the game is beyond incredible. it is so, so, so beautiful. you will just want to wander around in the world doing nothing else but taking in the beauty.

here's a screenshot of the first village.

  10. http://www.amazon.co...20935863&sr=8-2 - 30 gbp. That's 2400. If I can ship it to someone in the UK and ask them to gimme the code. hmmmm

my advice is don't do this. bethesda region locks their games, especially in the uk. i found this out the hard way when i bought a uk key for brink that i couldn't use. just pay the extra amount and buy it straight from steam. you can preload immediately and play when it unlocks in 24 hours from now.
