I'm immensely enjoying this show called - 'The Good Wife'. I think many don't watch it here, maybe its the name that might make you think its some kind of soap opera. Its not. Its a legal drama series,well written with some very good performances. And the show solves one case in each episode, while having a back story that flows across seasons. Something like House....I would recommend anyone who's a fan of legal drama to watch the series.
BTW, any other such legal dramas worth watching ?
yep the good wife is one of the best shows around, and more so because it's a network show.
Damages. Quite good. Boston Legal and the practice are some older gems too.
i'd recommend damages too, although the quality is a bit inconsistent. and the core story meanders to illogical places sometimes... mostly because when they wrote season 1, they didn't expect to be writing season 4. still, it's a good show.
and for those watching, homeland got renewed for season 2 yesterday.

yea they could even have those random acts of violence that kept popping up in RDR and maybe also have an option to initiate said act of violence
..tbh, those got boring after the first 2-3 times. there was no element of surprise when it happened after that.

yes sir, second one. got the deus ex one because i'm a fan, it doesn't really serve any purpose apart from the extra artwork and stuff. now this dark souls one, i can actually see myself using it while playing the game. might go in for the skyrim guide, let's see. don't feel the batman one is required.
the dxhr one was supposedly a limited edition, which might be why it's out of stock. don't see why they would limit it though... if someone is interested in buying your product, why leave money on the table by not making it available? it's a book after all, not some rare exotic item that can't be made again.

hardly. gta 4 sold over 20 million copies and the gta series has sold over 100 million. no one in the world can be surprised by this announcement.

How is the game guide ? I would like to buy it if it is really good.
i just got mine and it's nothing short of amazing. 400 pages of info about enemies, weapons, areas, maps, secrets, npcs, bosses, concept art. had a quick glance through it, brilliant stuff. here's a photo of the contents (sorry for the flash in the centre) - http://i.imgur.com/SWe5R.jpg

today's episode of homeland wasn't great. earlier ones were better.
dexter is losing the plot altogether. the whole religion thing is being overdone and then some.

Blizzard sure does make the greatest CG trailers in the industry.
frankly, i was only impressed by the diablo 3 trailer from blizzcon, and even that was pretty vague in terms of what it showed. the others, including gameplay trailers from wow/dota were underwhelming. and the starcraft 2 cgi trailer was terrible when compared to the previous one which showed kerrigan getting left behind (i mention this because she's obviously the focus of both the new trailer and the next game).
remember the ending of this one?

arkham asylum is a 12-14-18 hour game depending on how you play it. not sure how long gta4 is but the episodes are about 8-10 hours each. it's really not as long as you might think.

Is this kinda GTA deal possible in future also ?? right now kinda downloading space beside money also needed for other stuff.....I am tempted but if it is possible that near future also i may get this deal then it will be better for me...
gut feeling says no. the classics pack has been down to 7.5$ before, while the gta 4 complete pack has been down to 10$. so the lowest possible price for the whole collection before this has been 17.5$. don't think anything will happen to bring the price down this low again anytime soon.

the gta complete pack is on sale for 12.5$. that's every single gta game ever made for about 625 bucks. eyes closed, brothers, eyes closed...

Bastards aren't releasing the game. The release date keeps changing every day! Last night it changed when there was "one hour to go". Do they realize no one's gonna give a f**k about this game in a few days?
probably means less complaints when it's inevitably broken on release. what do they care, they've already gotten our money.

So Homeland is good? I was getting it anyways for Claire Danes
I like the espionage angle to Pan Am. Doesn't feel a lot like a period show though. Not like Mad Men or Boardwalk Empire.
homeland is probably the best new show of this year, although that isn't really saying much if you think about it. hopefully they can keep the story interesting throughout the season. it's actually an adapted version of an israeli show which i somehow feel would probably be more interesting. of course, we'll never know.
the latest episode of pan am was actually quite good. character development, drama, the spy stuff and some parts were just them having fun. too bad the show is still hemorrhaging viewers badly and will be lucky to survive for a full season. one of the mistakes they're making is airing it on sunday which is packed with heavyweight shows + they have sports airing in america at the time.

all this talk of 'better compression' is a smokescreen for shittastic texture quality. they've either got crap textures or they reused high quality ones a lot. not even sure which of these is worse :\
