compared to Cesc's previous season, it will be still much more worthwhile playing with likes of messi, xavi and iniesta, compared to diaby, song and bendtner!
Truth!!

tere pooch ke nahi lega

its upto abramovich and manager to decide , we can rant , argue all we want they wont listen sh*t

what I know is chelsea will spend !
imho we will definitely get a midfielder and striker before close of transfer window.
Also a winger... I hope Arda Turan... for 18mill, he's a steal!
-
n AVB seems lyk such a nice and down to earth guy. I hope he leaves Chelsea soon coz i wouldn't lyk abusing or hating such a nice guy.
& I hope Roman buys some patience for himself!!
-
abramovich will give monies for sure .
40mil for neymar... no thanks..

-
Football talk is one of the biggest tabloids there... so yeah, lol...
plus £130,000 a week

patience bacha

United ke kitty khatam considering the amount they ve spent . Dont think they ll be spending more .
Talent is being scooped up by the opponents... AVB says no one will go out or come in till the team comes back for pre-season and then he will judge who has to go and who has to come!!

-
How the fck Barca is supposed to pull off Fab-Sanchez double swoop by the weekend... Where will the money come from??
Who are they selling to finance this swoop... Has Ibra permanently joined AC Milan??
-
I hope they haven't re-signed Hargreaves...
Exceptional player when he was fit. Very sad that he had to go...
On a serious note, I do think we have another signing in the offing before the friendlies start on July 20th...
Fingers crossed.fck this sh*t.. United are signing quality after quality and its all blues at SB...
on top of it.. AVB thinks Chelsea's current squad is right up there with the best... Sad!!

I told you, I am precariously hanging in the number two category of that list you posted last week...

Yu pretty much justified it now!

-
i think it is even stevens... coz over the first part of the decade arsenal have been right there
it's just over the last 3-4 seasons they have flopped... n mostly in the second half of the season...

Aww dabba

Shall I play the moar trophies card ... or too soon!!

-
I hope this scenario occurs.
-
- Inter have signed Gian Piero Gasperini as their new coach who favours 3-4-3 formation.
- Sneijder does not fit into that formation as he prefers to play in the trequartista position.
- Inter express interest in Nasri who is more versatile than Sneijder.
- Wenger decides to offload the player this season.
- Inter buy Nasri for a decent amount.
- United express interest in Sneijder.
- Inter willingly sell Sneijder to United.
Possible fail points.
-
- Citeh enter the race and shell out their big bucks.

- Chelsea enter the race and play the "London/League title contender/More trophies than Arsenal in the recent years" card.

- SAF getting an epiphany and deploying Cleverley in the center of the park.

Goodness me... Fantasy football right here ladies & gentlemen!!

Also, rumour is that Clichy is on his way out and on his way in to ManCity!! :|
-
question: why are we looking at a 40 mill plus deal for nymar or possibly falcao when a cheaper and more pressing solution to our lineup (a freakin CAM) is open for sale much closer.. in the same city ffs !

Exactly... Its astonishing that Chelsea is willing to pay 40mil for neymar... & in him, I see another robinho in the making... these self-centered brazilians are not for the english game... He plays alot on his own and would get bullied alot by the english defence...
dude, if Sanchez can have a price tag of 44 mil, Carroll of 35 mil, Downing of 18 mil, Milner of 25 something mil(last year with one year on his contract left) then i blv 20 mil for Nasri is not bad at all.
English blood can only be compared to english blood!!
And lets see how much Sanchez actually goes for... I think he'll go for around 35-40mil..
-
what do you think the price should be then
dunno but still hes a far economical option than sneijder or modric
the kind of player he is 20 mil is a bargain
Sneijder is of a different league... no comparison to Nasri... Nasri still needs to perform and justify his potential... he's been impressive last season but he still needs to prove that he can deliver every season...
15mil tops...
Even though Nasri is in the final year of his contract, United may have to shell out a large sum because of the threat of City hijacking the deal. Plus United is a direct competitor to Arsenal and selling Nasri to United for anything less would lead to a huge furore in the Emirates camp.
And to add to that, I have my doubts about Arsene's will to sell Nasri to United. :-/
Trust me Wenger will do everything he can to offload him overseas... If I would have been wenger, I'd gladly take a 10mil for him from inter, etc rather than a 20-25mil within the country!! He has that potential tol hurt Arsenal if he stays in England!!

i know for sure u are not comparing the Invincibles with any team this decade... or the past few decades either...

if u say over the past few seasons i will agree with u.... but the Invincibles are... well the best team in the premier league era...

for the past 10-11 seasons (decade) on the whole dabba... not one particular season in between!!

Though that invincible season deserved all the respect it got!!

sour grapes?
With one year left on his contract, shek's not wrong!!

^ ya'll just expect everyone to be goodie two-shoes...
I have never came across a professional tennis player condemning Federer's attitude.. Never was or is regarded by any of his acquaintance as arrogant... Yet, people are judging him only on Rafa's comparison!!
-
He does not like losing and it shows in his body language .. agreed!
Bro nobody likes to lose and every person who loses, be it Nadal, Sampras, Agassi, Rafter, etc, body language drops, facial expression goes dull... So, there's nothing that needs to be agreed upon about Federer's body language when he loses..!!
Anybody who has played a sport and lost knows what I'm talking about...
-
Yea Lith, nice try. Body language is one of the most telling forms of communication. Fed gets sore everytime. It's like after all the years of competition-less wins has rendered him impotent. He just can't take the heat. More than that, he can't believe that he's losing to the people he's losing to.
What the hell is wrong with yu guys... Yu all are practically comparing Nadal and Federer on the bases of their loser faces?? Pathetic...
Every person is different.. How on earth is a losing opponent suppose to look like other than being disgruntled.. joker keeps breaking his rackets after a point loss but thats ok...Federer loses his smile and seems low after a match loss, boo Federer!?! Ridiculous...
Its ok to idolize Nadal but its stupid to think that anything that is not like him is being a sore loser!!
True Fanboys ya'll are sounding like...

Can't we just put gifs in spoiler tags?
the data still loads within the spoiler tags i guess
-
Alrite, Madhav & others. Airtel has FUPd me and likely others with 265kbps for the remainder of 10 days. I can't view so many pics, GIfs etc in one page. Please break it up.
I wanna laugh too.

Will do!!
I think a rule should get implemented about the max pics and gifs that can be in a single post!!
I'll try to use one gif per post!!

I read an article on how the game and courts have changed and become so slower. No more of those serve fests we used to see from Sampras and Rafter etc in the 90s. I was watching an old 1998 or 1997 match of Sampras on ESPN the other day. Man, the rallies were hardly 4-5 shots. Most was just missiles sent by pete and the opponent moving from side to side. Apparently this caused lot of viewership to plummet and spectators got bored of it :S. I have no idea how they got bored, but to see Pistol Pete play was a treat to the eyes.
So, the ITF and ATP guys have deliberately slowed down all the courts, almost made carpet courts irrelevant, modified the balls etc to suit the slower game so as to increase rallies and keep the interest of spectators. I personally think long rallies are good as the player can clevely and patiently construct the point for himself and after each shot int he rally, the crowd is more tense and immersed in the game. Although, a counter argument could be that everyone grinds today. Except maybe the Americans with their monster serves, rest just grind it out.
Oh yeah... Sampras was a treat to the eyes... and so was his and Agassi's rivalry in which Sampras was a genuine no.1 and Agassi a no.2...
I used to love Sampras play and when he was defeated by FedEx in 2001 Wimbledon, I knew I found my new hero!!

I think he may call it a day at 28-29. He's already achieved enough and is one of the greatest. Seeing the depth of today's top 5, I'd reckon Rafa wins 2-3 more slams and closes it at 13. Like Madhav said, his lower body requires a hell of treatment and medication for him to be in playing shape. Of course, if he gets his US Open 2010 form back any year in the future, he would be unbeatable!
Federer and Rafa have achieved more than anyone the past decade. The two are so far ahead of anyone whose on the tour today. Roger is still playing very well. Unfortunate today against the frenchman. And full credit to Roger for keeping his health. He's in top form even today at 29. No injuries, very good health. Its just his sublime and intelligent game. I reckon Roger will play 2 more years at the very least. He can easily do that.
It'll be sad if Nadal calls it a day at 28... Nadal can easily surpass Federer's trophy tally in his current avatar...
& I bow down to Federer's fitness.... If Im not wrong, he has played almost every grandslam since the past 9-10 years..
I think he is looking for one more Wimbledon and one more US/French... But with his fitness, he can easily keep on going for another 3-4years!!
-
Interesting how they marked down the WC performances and in the process dicked a lot of nations that did well there which could have benefited with the whole point scoring instead of 50%
True rankings will flourish once Copa America culminates!!

tikka is tasty of murghi only

Hello? Mutton?
-
The style that Nadal plays puts pressure on his ankles. He doesnt have a long career. 2-3 years more, unless he changes his style.
True... But, that is what makes him Nadal... He is what he is because of his shot-making along with his agility... He changes that, & he is Nadal no more we know now!!
His knees, ankles, tendons, etc take a huge toll!!

I guess he too has only one year left on his contract... His 7mill evaluation seems justified!!
