    TBH, if yu too are in that phase of raveling under 'moar trophies moar history' shenanigan, then I think we both should surrender ourselves infront of Liverpool and ManU.. But, thats not how it goes now does it...?!!! Sigh..!!

    Most of the chelseas fans dnt have a decent reply for that, they will just go off topic and state a point which is not at all relevant becoz they cant answer this w/o accepting that chelsea is inferior to arsenal...

    Even though Cesc is much more valuable than Barca's evaluation, two or three reasons are making his value inferior..

     

    1) Cesc is being injury prone way too much for the past year & a half... Also, the last season was below par by his standards.

     

    2) Cesc only wants to move to Barca. Competition and bidding wars wont happen.

     

    3) Barca is trying to take advantage of his exclusive interest in joining Barca. They know he'll either come to Nou Camp or wont move at all.

     

    Cescl definitely wont join any other club except for Barca. This is why Barca aint interested in paying inflated value for him as they know sooner or later he'll come...

     

    Yet, SOMEHOW, Somehow our trophy cabinet is a lot more fuller. With 13 league titles and 10 FA Cups. Just remind me again, How many does the Blue side of London have? :P

    Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has conceded that there is only a 10 per cent chance of Javier Pastore remaining with the club.

     

    The 22-year-old Argentina midfielder has been linked with a move away from Stadio Renzo Barbera having arrived at the club in 2009 from Huracan for 19million euros.

     

    A host of leading European sides have reportedly been tracking his situation this summer, with Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona all rumoured to be interested.

     

    Zamparini, who revealed Palermo have received an offer of 50million euros from an unnamed club for Pastore, admits it is highly unlikely the player will be at the club in the coming campaign.

     

    "The possibility that he (Pastore) stays next year is 10 per cent," he said in Corriere dello Sport.

     

    "He is now in Argentina, calm and preparing for the Copa America. His agent is evaluating three or four offers.

     

    "I can confirm that yesterday an offer of 50million euros arrived from a foreign club.

     

    "The player has no preference regarding his destination. For me he is worth more than 50million euros because in two or three seasons' time, his price will be double."

     

    Something tells me thats its Real Madrid!! :(

    btw one thing i have noticed, fedrer is amongst the most sore losers i have seen, people harp about his nice guy image... bollocks, just see when he loses a match, goes all cold and lukewarm congratulation to his opponent. I am not saying its bad to be a sore loser (lord knows i am one) but it does not sit well with the gentleman aura that his worshippers have created. A stark contrast to nadal.. one of the most humble fella on court.

    yu expect someone to jump up n down when one loses.... how should one react after a loss...?? what do others do differently... ??

    I've seen rafa, nole, murray just walk out after the defeat...

     

    yu cant expect a losing person to smile n cheered up after a loss, especially if that person was gunning for the championship... every person gets gutted after such a defeat..

     

    if he would have been cold, then he would have just left the court after the defeat like most losing opponents do... Yet, he was humble in defeat and waited for Tsonga and left together..

    Napoli aint interested in selling him, which means that an interested club would need the shell out alot to buy him out of the contract which is for another 4yrs...

     

    I think there is a good chance that he might join us. We are known for offering huge salaries plus we have 3 Brazil internationals in our squad :|

    seriously 40 mil on an unproven kid is just plain stupid.

    What amazes me is that Chelsea is willing to pay such a sum on a striker, where as what we really and desperately need is a no. 10... A midfield dictator... Marek Hamsik mightl cost exactly the same amount and so would Pastore... what the *bleep* is up with Chelsea.. :doh:

    No.. Since I am a NorthIndian, I had this habit of calling Rickshawalla , Bhaiyya.. Oh God.. the guys here take serious offence if you call a Marathi Manoos, a Bhaiyya.. :bigyellowgrin:

    Bhaiya is actually a referrer to all the labour class that come from UP and Bihar... Being from Delhi, I had the habit of saying bhaiya as well... A taxi driver actually stopped me from sitting in his taxi when i was in Mumbai for calling him bhaiya... Later my friend told me that yu call people 'boss' instead of 'bhaiya' in MH...

    After that I stopped using the word bhaiya altogether... 'Bhai ji' works pretty good everywhere

    Djokovic has the easiest way of becoming no 1. Rafa will have to win Wimby to retain his ranking. Anything else and Novak is the new no 1.

    even if nole loses to fed in semis and rafa reaches final but loses...?! i think rafa would retain no. 1

    I heard Vijay and Wilkins saying that since nole would have lost in semis to Fed, Fed would have overtaken both in that scenario... No point now as rafa is just running along...
