    Don't worry I'm not that thrilled either because I have a feeling spurs wouldn't part ways with him unless they get ~£35m which will be absolute stupidity.. By throwing in an extra £5m Chelsea could easily seal Pastore who is a much hotter prospect... Modric is not 35m stuff.. He is no Fabregas!!

    If he can be signed around £27m then good otherwise it'll be just waste of money, again... Sigh!!

    For some reason I see Brazil doing a good number here and only because Argentina have a habit of getting far and then being their own worst enemy.

     

    As for the pic with Nev and Scholes. Just goes to show that its a little more than teamwork that makes players gel together lol. All that's left now is a pic of Rio and then things become complete.

    The talent Argentina has on its disposal is unbelievable... I mean this what they have to choose from...

    & 1st one's the one I put my finger on... Second one was my secondary choice & since I was getting 2 at the price of one, I purchased both as soon as I saw the offer!!! :P

    22mil for Luka... It's not a joke bid. How can the player be worth double that amount? Modric is a very good player but £22m is not too far off the mark. Daniel Levy drives a hard bargain and Chelsea will obviously pay more to get him. But back to Luka, let's be fair he hasn't set the world alight. Bale and Van der Vaart have been much more outstanding this season. Not only that but I remember when we signed Didier Drogba for £24m in 2003/4 and although he just dived around in his first season, he had already set the world alight with numerous one-man performances in the UEFA cup and CL against Liverpool, Newcastle, Madrid and others for Marseille.

     

    My point is that Luka is not worth £40-odd million. I saw him at the match against us at the end of last season and he was good. He created space well and made a few bursts but that's about as much as I saw of him because we dominated the match. I hope we sign him because I believe he has a lot of potential and I know that we will have to pay over the mark but I suppose Chelsea have to because City might.

    I know that very well... I've been ranting this cry for a while now... But they cant be that big idiots to start putting in bids without coaches,... I think backroom talks are being taken care of with the prospect of a new which has already been decided but not officially announced!!
