    sab bhasad baaji hai.. ‎5.5 years ago Gerrard was desperate to join us, then the liverpool supporters did a randi rona and Stevie G became all nostalgic and sh*t and did not move. not one title to show..

     

    go on torres, emulate your capt, just dont take your grand kids when the WC 2010 Spanish squad's 15th reunion happens and all the villa's inesta's casillas's etc are are showcasing their trophy cabinet

    I'll f**king despise Torres for life if he does a u-turn ala rooney, tevez, etcetra.... I mean make up yur mind before hand or else stand by yur decision... Torres has been voicing out since 3 transfer windows... I think he really wants out now... Either its Chelsea now, or ManC/Barca in summer...

    err.....Hi all...anybody here seen 'The Primer'???......awesome movie.....would recommend it to anyone who likes to have something to think about for a while after watching the movie....and the 'mindf**k' genre being my favorite,it hit the spot perfectly when i saw it...watch it and be immersed in the gravity of its content.Enjoy :)

    drogba is specialer !

     

    i just happen to like torres for some reason, even when he was unknown quantity. I remember his first match was against aston villa. Gerrard belting in a godly freekick to net you guys the win after carew owned pool defenders in air to help villa score first. Torres is one player whom i just cant come to abuse or hate even when is is playing against us :bigyellowgrin:

     

    His BPL debut goal was against Chelsea... Since that day, I've been following in on his talent... Sometimes he just has his own ways against Chelsea just like Drogba has his for Arsenal!! :mellow:

     

    I can see it now Madhav opens Nemo's closet and faints because there is a poster of Torres with a Chelsea jersey painted/coloured on liverpool's lol

    That would make any chelsea guy faint actually... :P

    Why have luiz when you can have cahill at sasta price

    I have nothing against cahill....

     

    1. Scouts, managers, players, etc know better than us... They rate Luiz as one of the top defenders in the world.. mind yu, he is just 22..

    2. he was costing us less than half of 60mill..

    3. Ancelotti never showed interest in cahill, and neither coyle showed interest in offloading him

     

    Andy Carroll is 21 and still on a path to learn...

     

    All I am saying is that chelsea does not need just one signing that they go all gung-ho on it... we need atleast 3-4 good signings for which signing one player for 60M is a joke..

    Personally I want that Utrecht striker to come play for us because the boy has crazy legs, knows how to switch with the midfield man and he has a knack for pulling defenders out and leaving slots for midfielders to run amok. Plus he's dutch so that helps and he would be cheap.

    I have a very, very strong feeling that he is gonna be a gunner soon...

     

    Arsene has his own ways....

    Harry aint an idiot whose bidding for Andy Carroll... and that too justified 25.... why not him???? tell me one good reason (other than newcastle's reluctance) and I won't argue..

    Torres is a proven talent in the EPL . He s young(ish) and a absolute terror for defenders as long he gets the service . This is the kind of buy that we need. No more unproven players . We need players who are used to playing in the EPL. I rather have cahill than luiz anyday for chelsea.

    Overseas players take loads of time to adapt which in turn can prove costly for bigger clubs challenging for the title .

     

    90 million for ronaldo . 20 mill for bent . Torres deserves that price . Its a inflated market . Ramires too was close to 20 million . Approx figures :P

    No sorry, 60mill is no justified price for a striker who has had his highs and lows in the past... and who is injury prone... Its ridiculous if yu think Chelsea should splash 60mil on him... for that price, we could buy 3 Darren Bents... how is is it justified for one Fernando Torres...?

    50 million.. pfft. the latest is 40 million + studman, which i feel is high unless its studman for loan.

    tbh i would pin torres at 40 million flat. 35 + studman/anelka and we have got a deal.

     

    Torres leaving pool is inevitable, its up to the management at anfield to decide what to do, cash on torres now and use it to build a squad, adams, conentrao etc and hope to catch sunderland or keep torres forcibly, making him sulk and selling him in summer for a far less price. coming 24 hours are gonna be very interesting.

    Roman has gone crazy.... It seems he doesn't use his brain when it comes to football... He is lining up a 60 million pound bid... is he crazy or just an idiot???

    1st shevchenko failed, now torres might as well... with a huge price tag comes huge pressure and responsibility on the player... its a fukin gamble and we have faced the worse of it already...

    I dont want Chelsea to spend blindly on Torres, especially when his contract has a buy-out clause of 50mil... let this season fail, but prepare for the future transfers in a more logical & financial way... go for lukaku, go for hazard, go for sanchez, go for pato (& David Luiz :doh:)... but, 40+ million on a player does not seem logical in any way... its stupidity.. unless its a ronaldo or a messi...

    man this is not good, agreed the price for luiz was insane to begin with but carlo was so into the weird haired guy that i thought we will net him. We dont really need a defender right now compared to an attacker but he would have been one for the future. I hope we make some acqusition in the transfer window.. perhaps a deadline torres :naughty:

     

    i dunno what to make of this, on one hand i am happy that we are playing the hard bargain. not anymore are we the easy spenders who can be milked by any one setting inflated price; but on the other hand i am a bit concerned about the miserly behavior. Sigh... summer should give a CLEAR indication what roman's intentions are.

    bro it was 1million in the midst of 25million... we were already being milked if yu wanna take it like that, but it was chelsea who refused to pay another 1....

    Benfica has nothing to loose.... Luiz has a contract with them till 2015... with city around (who as a matter of fact are interested in luiz), benfica will definitely get more if not the same in the summer....

    ok aging might not be, but alex is injury prone, terry seems fatigued after every couple of games, iva is seeming more aggressive on the right than bosi.... there has to be one strong central defender... Bruma is still not 1st team material...

     

    And David Luiz' class has been judged by numerous scouts of numerous clubs... without a doubt he is the hottest defensive commodity out there, along with subotic and kjaer... He has shown his potential at international level as well.. Brazil coaching staff speaks real high about him... And, I even read last summer that Lucio was highly impressed by Luiz' potential... I guess that was enough to prove his worth...

     

    Striker/s would come in summer... We have more of defensive worries for this season...

     

    Also, Chelsea's potential 25mil offer for Luiz was tabled by judging his class and potential...

    why didn't roman go for it? You'll really could have gotten a class defender for a nice price too and instead of running after our point man that would have been a sweeter deal.

    I know.... Chelsea could live without a new striker right now, but a world class and young defender would have done wonders to our aging and injury ridden back-line....

     

    Sigh! Roman Sigh!.... 1 million of misery could hurt us very bad.... f**k, this deal was imminent... how could it not happen... Come summer, ManCity will pounce on Luiz! This season is so f**ked up for us.... :( :(
