Well Nehalem's product name has been revealed.

idk what the significance of i7 is.

Anyways, 3 CPUs to come this year, and the retail names can be expected in 3 days.

I have 2.1 Creative speakers, they make The Fray sound like death metal on max volume.
:rofl2:
Yeah they sound terrible on max.
Haven't played Mass Effect in a while, fun game though. Don't game on X360 that much nowadays.
^^ yup!!! im in the middle of my 7 th playthrough on the 360 .. tongue.gif ... .. must say .. the PC version looks better ...Yeah, obviously, the PC version got rated more too I think, I mean everyone knew it was going to look better, maybe they weeded out the quirks from the 360 version.

Take it with a grain of salt, but apparently the 55nm GT200s are almost done and it seems nVidia are waiting for the final R700 performance numbers to decide clocks. Reported by FUD I think, I don't know how trustworthy they are, but I'm thinking the new chips will be out soon, nVidia won't sit around and let ATI take the performance crown with the R700.
Might be kinda confusing though. What are they going to call it? GTX 265 and GTX 285? or GTX 260+ and GTX 280+?
I didn't make this joke. Saw it on another forum, and I lol'ed.
nVidia really is a green company. Look at how many products they are recycling!:rofl2:

dunno buddy maybe it sounds like its distorting only 2 my ears... most probably sounds fine 2 every1 else... n waz talkin abt max vol not high vol... ahh well...

Haha, no worries, the more expensive equipment perform with a lot more finesse compared to the cheaper ones on high/max, that's what I was trying to say.
I have an SBS 2.1, (Creative), and the sound on maximum is offensive as hell, and not enjoyable at all. The higher quality systems will obviously have higher fidelity.

Get a Corsair VX 450 or Cooler Master Real Power Pro 550W.
The Corsair is around 3.1k and is basically a SeaSonic I think. They are known for their amazing power supplies.
-
ITWares says the IP35-E is Rs. 5350. I've heard some great things about it.
-
buddy any system u turn on max will distort n give u a jarring output

I bet many customers are going to be pissed after spending so much on a sound system, only to find out that any system is going to distort at high volumes.

Core 2 Duo 2.53Ghz E7200 - (3MB L2 cache 2.53Ghz 1066MHz) -- 5800
Intel DP35DP Intel P35 Express Chip 1333 FSB 5750
G-Skill DDR 2 F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ 2GB (1GB x 2) 800Mhz 2400
Seagate Sata 2 500 GB (16 MB Buffer) 3550
Check a good Cabinet with 550 W around 2500
I'd go for the Abit IP35-E over that, but besides that, solid config.
You could get the 9600 GSO if you're on a really low budget, the Palit 9600 GSO 384MB is 6.3k, about 5k less than the price of the HD 4850.
I'd strongly suggest the idea of going for a Cooler Master or Corsair power supply, but he's on a very low budget.

Amazing deal, if only we lived in America or had NewEgg here or something.

That's an Asus HD 3850 512MB. How much? 89.99$. 59.99$ after mail-in rebate.

2*HD 3850s in CrossFire just about matches a single 8800 GTX, I heard. So if you count rebate that's like 8800 GTX performance for 120$.

Z-5500 seems good....???? well my dear you havent heard it yet...
No need to sound so condescending, don't recall ever saying anything bad about it. Maybe I should have said it was GREAT like the other systems too, simple mistake.
only 1 of ur qn did i understand...the last one...I asked if it was too loud for a smaller room, one in an apartment building at that. (In the first question.)
-
Nice purchase, JeRi.
I know it probably sounds amazing, but from your experience would say it's wayyyy too powerful for a smaller (non-living) room?
I have a Creative 2.1 and that on max volume is jarring. And not the crisp loud sound either, it's just noise. Wanting to buy an Altec Lansing ATP-3 or MX5021, which are both great apparently. Z-5500 seems good, but I don't wanna spend that much when I'm not even going to be using it to it's full potential.
And you can can keep your PC and console hooked up to it at the same time, correct?

Guys im getting a 8800GTS 320mb soon and i have a Thermaltake 420W PSU,is that enuf???
I also do have a VIP 500W PSU,will they suffice??
What's the +12V rating on the ThermalTake? If you can afford it, get the VX-450 Corsair, I'm sure that this will support it, and it's like 3k atm.
And for the music lovers, Ultimate-Ears seem to have launched affordable in ear headphones, well, not exactly, but better compared to their $199 models.

Sounds great, apparently. Never know until you've heard it for yourself.

Something interesting about EVGA and ATI

ATI turned EVGA down, it would seem. They have some loyal partners in Sapphire, PowerColor and HIS who make ATI videocards exclusively and a ton of other companies who make both ATI and nVidia, so eh.
-
Amazing setup, DeeMan.
The Z-5500's subwoofer looks monstrous. I've never heard the system in action before I don't think. I'm a bit scared, seriously.

Here you go.

Only cases seem to be available at the moment, I'm sure power supplies will make their way too soon.

-
ThermalTake products are officially here.

Prices seem to be on the higher side, though. The Armor+ Mid Tower is like 7,500 Rs.

-
Most probably a scam...sounds too far fetched.
This site meaning this site? Or which one? lol :S

-
Budget?
Heard great things about the Sennheiser PC350, but it's expensive.
-
If he's ok with a non gaming PC, a motherboard with integrated graphics would do, to be honest. The 8600 GT is good for some casual gaming at reasonable resolutions.
That's a great PC for the price.
-
Ah yeah, might take a while to arrive here.
It's for cheap and offers good performance for the price you pay.
-
Tell him to foget the UPS and get this.
Intel Dual Core 2.0 GHz E 2180 - 800 FSB/1MBCache 3300
Intel D945GCPE Intel945 Express Chip 1066 FSB 2750
Transcend DDR 2 2 GB 800 Mhz 1950
Seagate Sata 2 320 GB (16 MB Buffer) 2775
Lite - On Lite-On 20X Sata 1350
I-Ball i648 (With 400W SMPS) 1400
XFX 8600GT 512MB DDR2 4200
Total : 17725.
Isn't the GeForce 9500 GT out? Well if it's out here, that's the best choice for a lower end gaming rig, apparently it beats the 8600 GT.
-
guys i am planning to buy a graphics card.....my budget is 12K...pls suggest me a good card...
& how about GeCube ATI Radeon HD4850 512MB GC-HD485PG3
You answered your own question.

EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB - NewEgg
Hmm, they said it was coming out for 229$, but it's up for 199$. Good deal. Shame it's still 18k for the normal 9800 GTX here.

Edit: Oh..yeah, Intel. I heard about their venture a while ago, but I forgot. I just hope ATI doesn't go down under due to AMD coming up shorter in the processor market against Intel.

So that's what the significance is. ~_~
Sounds like a simple enough concept.
