So no PvP and jolly cooperation here then? I'll buy this but the biggest turn off is the preset male character. Main reason why I can't bring myself to play the witcher games. Even if there's no character creation atleast a gender change for gods sake. Forcing me to play this male toon. Sexist much?

Really hope this game deviates from its usually premise about wishy washy tales about legendary soldiers,emo bosses w/emo banter and whatever nonce that really doesn't appeal to mature gamers. From a creator (kojima) who insists that his message in games is 'anti-war' , what it really does is glorify war.
Remember that rainbow six patriots trailer where they toss that banker out of the window and blow him up? Id prefer something like that, too bad that game canned.

That can be said about each and every third party exclusive.
How many people played demon souls really? It was a fine game but not many people including the PlayStation owners themselves played it. Japanese people didn't even like it so much so that fool Sony exec Yoshida whatever reffered to it as a "terrible and awful" game.
It was only after namco bandai brought the next souls game (dark souls) to all 3 platforms it got appreciated by a large number of people.

Dissapointed that this is a Sony exclusive. Which means fewer people play this game and there wont be as many people discussing about it as they did for dark souls which I've come to love. Well still got the ds2 dlc to look forward to I guess . Thanks FROM , idiots .

Just defeated miraak , still just lvl 58. Inspite of my one hand wep ,archery , sneak and blacksmith skills all at lvl 100 and im playing in master difficulty. How the hell do people lvl up till 200 in this ??

Ulfric talks sh*t, but I prefer Stormcloaks. My character is a Nord (main), so it felt right. Fight for your land and take it back.
The Imperials are just hired thugs for the Thalmor.
Not quite , the imperials have no choice but to enforce the will of the thalmor else they violate the white gold concordant treaty which would result in the total and utter loss of soveriegnity of the empire to the aldhemri dominion. Also most of the legion soldiers in skyrim are nords themselves born and bred in skytim like Legate Rikke and supported by many jarls and clans like battle borne in whiterun.
At the end of the day Stormcloaks are nothing but mere sentimental, racist, superstious nords with egostastical issues who fail at seeing the broader picture. And what if skyrim got it's independence from the empire?? The thalmor will make short work of them later anyway.
Also joining the stormcloaks means you have to betray jarl balgruff.... which sucks.

Finished finished the main quest line, dawnguard ,several side quests and only lvl 40. Started dragonborn now. Just to realise that some enemies dont appear until the player has reached a certain level. I havent encountered any Falmer Warmongers wearing the hardened armor , Werewolf Vagrs or Legendary Dragons. This is so stupid , wouldve been better if they scale enemy difficulty and loot based on level. Ive cleared most of the dwemer ruin dungeons and any quests that prolly releated to it. That means chances are ill never encounter any of the harder hardened falmer warmongers unless i go and grind there after ive already reached a higher level. Fail.
Btw started the game on legendary , tapped out n reduced it to master. -

Got banned yesterday from runes of magic,mmo i invested 2 and half years and 600 euros into. Just for going on their forums and giving a brutally honest feedback for nerfing my character and maybe swearing in game a little bit. Some daft mod thought that was offensive. Hopefully a temproary ban.

The 9800 / 9800 Pro were ATi Radeon's break out card in the 2002-04 timeline. Superlative cards which could go toe-to-toe with nVidia's latest and greatest of that era. Bigger, badder and RED.
Then came the nVidia 6*** family of cards, the 9800 went into retirement by late 2005. In its wake came the X series cards from ATi, I had an X700 on my RIG from 2007 -->January 2010. I finished Crysis on it at the most amazing screen resolution of 800 x600 and every other setting toned down to LOW (and still the game lagged).
Now I don't know what JACKAL's story is w.r.t. but I would kindly suggest you PM him for it and not discuss the same on this thread.
I do not go on the console threads to bad-mouth companies. I would request the same courtesy to be reciprocated here. Please.

OMG, 290 is the new 9800 Pro.
If anyone has a budget of 30K, then they should spend some more and get this card which should last for more than 3years.
Also regarding mantle, I read that mantle is tied with the "game engine" and not with individual games. So if a game developed using an engine that has mantle implemented in it, then its upto the individual game devs to support or not support mantle in their games.
Thats the card i got in 2007 when people were all hyped about crysis n sh*t. And it was then i decided to abandon pc gaming.

yea i feel the same, they shouldve gracefully ended the series and waited for atleast a few years before bringing it back. MGS is now the Assasins Creed of Konami. Mgs Rising ... now thats something different and it looks sooooo coooooooooooooool

Well its nice if its going to be another mgs game ,but arent there too many mgs games coming out?? All these mgs games make the epic ending of mgs4 seem a total waste. Looks like the mgs universe was better off with the tyranical war economy rule under the patriots / liquid whoever atleast there'd be order even if meant nations constantly warring each other sheesh... Or is this another prequel??

Well gta4 sold only 4 million for the pc and thats nothing compared to the record sales it created when it first released on the consoles. R* will release a pc port eventually but it will be a bad neglected port just to bank on left over success. In the grand scheme of things R* and many studios simply dont consider the interests of pc gamers as important since there are more people who'll just pirate the game than those goody two shoes fellows who buy/download legit copies.
To be honest other than Valve games , id prefer just pirating single player games on the pc rather than getting it from steam even if it was availabe on steam for free. Saves me from getting the occasional "Operation cannot be completed while offline" messages which is a pain if im travelling or w/o net & all those annoying mandatory updates even for single player games.
