    3D 3D 3D 3D!!!!! Seriously... it's THAT good. Screw Avatar, this is the most kickass 3D experience I've ever had! You can tell that the movie was shot with 3D in mind.

     

    Say what you wanna say about Paul W S Anderson, he knows how to make a super slick action movie. The story isn't anything different from the previous flicks (but still better than I expected) and there are some things that are just plain cringeworthy... like how Alice and Claire manage to find make up and look hot while the entire world lies in ruins or like how automatic weapons never run out of ammo or need reloading. But then again if you're looking for logic this is the wrong movie. If you wanna watch some cool Matrix-inspired action scenes and hot girls kicking a*s, blood splattered on your 3D goggles, then it goesn't get any better than this.

     

    There were a lot of things lifted straight from the RE5 game and they worked quite well in the movie. Wentworth Miller was pretty good as Chris Redfield... too bad Chris is mostly a secondary character here. Even the guy who plays Wesker did a good job. And don't start walking out while the credits start to roll. There is a scene after the first section of credits featuring an important character.

     

    Special credit to the fitting soundtrack by Tomandandy. And they even used the A Perfect Circle song (from the trailer) during a key sequence.

     

    I had a lot of fun watching the movie and I'm probably gonna watch a couple of times more.

     

     

    PS: Opening credits scene reminded me of Ninja Blade... more than any Resident Evil game.

    Very well written. I absolutely loved this movie.. It was my first movie in 3D ( I didn't had a 3D theatre back in the place where I lived in India). It was hell of an experience. I didn't know 3D was so good and this particular movie was made keeping 3D in mind. All the stunts were awesome and there were nice pieces taken from RE5. Even though the game sucked, it's adaptation in movie was awesome.lol. Ironic! The axeman sequence was awesome. The story was pretty decent compared to previous installments. Moreover I think it was the best movie in the series visually especially because of 3D.. And Chris and Wesker both were awesome just as you said.. But I kinda disliked the cliffhanger and the abrupt ending. I expected something more from the final showdown.

    Well a funny thing happened when watching the show. The movie was stuck for a while due to some technical error. So they compensated everyone in theatre by giving them extra tickets to watch one movie FREE.lol! So I watched Inception the next day and it was one hell of a movie. I liked it even more than Resident Evil because that movie is a piece of art. Such a mind boggling story and great special effects!

    Had an awesome movie weekend at Cineplex! :gunsmilie:

    The next movie on my list is The Last Exorcism if possible..

    thanks a lot bro. i shifted to Canada a month ago...... my old PS3 went kaput in India so got a new one here but its quite cheap here. I have brought all of my games with me and will join online gaming soon :devil:

     

    OT: btw how is Obaid bhai? didnt talk to him for a long time. its impossible to contact him. do say hello to him from my side. thanks!

    There were few loading screens at abnormal locations in this game, and it happened at same place twice in my two playthroughs.

    once when climbing up the chain of olympus and i mean climbing not gliding, and the second loading happens when Kratos approaches the flame of olympus for the first time after which there is a cutscene with Athena.

    And did anyone notice the audio loop issue?? It started to happen after installing 5mb patch. Never happened before. :fear: Btw strangely exactly the same type of glitches were in GoW1 and 2 but i always thought that they were because of *ahem* discs. However I never expected original bluray discs to have that kind of glitches :bigyellowgrin:

    Even i got stuck for few seconds 5 or 6 times.. I even got a load sign few times where it wasnt required..

     

    But thankfully my PS3 didnt hang... Didnt need a restart...

    Played it just now....and yeah gfx wise, UC2 is superior than this build....but the brutality in the game is shocking :PThis just might end up as the most violent game made so far.

    I guess that honor is for Manhunt :P But still need to play the demo to decide. still at 89.2%. damn I m getting impatient!!

    will give u cheap ride thats true but may cost u in extra maintainance, ill say if no issue with the m800 looks then go for it ..............

    The looks and the interior is the only issue otherwise 800 is old trusty car which also saves some bucks when buying and in maintenance. we had one before. my dad loved it so much. we sold it just recently but that was petrol version

    btw does anyone have any hands-on experience with a LPG vehicle. i was thinking of buying one for my wife because she has to travel a lot for her job.. i m confused between Maruti800duo and Chevrolet Spark.. Please guys give some suggestions. and i wanna know what are the advantages and disadvantages of LPG vehicle. we were looking for LPG cos i have heard its really cheap for travelling long distances.

    LOL, in my college days, some of us guys used to go for a stroll/coffee to get energized to study the whole night. And we used to just end up all tired and sleepy by the time we got back to hostel with the long stroll :(

    *Sigh* Miss those days :(

    so true. used to happen with me too.. me and my friends used to go on a walk esp after dinner. and we'd go to sleep as soon as we returned instead of studying. we usually visited the morgue in our college from backside to have a scary feeling. and we even used to have a challenge of peeing on morgue's wall. some of us did that and nothing happened there ever. once we even found the backdoor to morgue open. it was very strange. we entered it and saw the dead bodies lying there.. some of my friends were frightened to hell.. :) we used to cut dead bodies in dissection hall but paying them a visit at night was a different experience
