  1. Great news on your family's fortunate escape from injury. Hope your Dad recovers soon.

And two knocks on your brother's head from me.

thanks MT.. i always persuaded or even coerced them to take the driver with them esp when they have to travel at night.. but they sent him to his home in evening. lame decision.. i too am really pissed off at my brother but cant say anything to him as he's 6 years older to me

OMG  .... bro praying your dad recovers real soon :fear:

thanks bro.. don't worry he's fine. he's already done a Casearean Section today in our hospital  he's a really strong man. last nyt when i reached there he was standing there without any tension or anything :giggle:

  2. OH f**k!!! :)

What about the car that caused all this??

actually the trolley driver was cooperative and admitted his mistake. my dad is a generous person so he didn't blame anything on him. and moreover it was my brother's fault too.. he drove in India after living in US for abt 2 years. it was dark and he couldn't see the trolley as it had no backlights (it happens usually in Punjab).. the trolley guy offered much help in dislodging the car from trolley's back. it was loaded with potatoes and was pretty heavy.. so the potatoes had to be unloaded from the trolley to take out the car. the company reports the car is Totally Damaged. will get a new car by insurance hopefully..

bro, good to know both of them are safe....I guess its a lesson for all of us...

Take care bro. God bless your family ;)

thanks bro. i was really shocked when i got to know abt this. i rushed to the accident as soon as possible on my car. i could have lost my elder brother and my dad together. and i really love my dad.. i even dont want to imagine what could have happened. got his eyes checked twice by an eye surgeon today. his left eye was injured in accident but thank God, his eyesight was saved...

  3. Bad news: My dad and elder brother met with a horrible accident today. My brother was driving our Maruti SX4 at high speed which got crumpled behind a trolley-tractor. The car is wasted.

However, good news is that both of them are safe. My brother is safe because he wore seat belt.. My dad didnt wear a seat belt and sustained some minor injuries on his face an neck mainly due to broken glass from the windshield. Thank God they r safe. got to teach my dad to develop habit for wearing seat belt

  4. had the dominos pasta (white) ystrdy...

suprisingly one of the few dominos stuff tht i likd...(the other one i like is calzone btw)

domino's pasta was tasty.. had it once.. the red chilli one. i love calzone too.. last time when i went to domino's the pasta was out of stock  so had to eat Calzone.. looks like Pasta got pretty famous

  5. I started with an 800, moved on to a manual Zen, then to an Automatic Zen and then a Honda City. I prefer the Auto-Zen any time of day - smaller, comfortable, much easier to handle and zip around between traffic.

I wonder how the hell people enjoy driving Innovas.

i learned driving on 800 and then we bought SX4.. at first it seemed difficult, but then i got a grip of it and then it was a breeze.. i never wanted to drive 800 again.. now i have my own Alto and i still miss driving SX4 which my dad drives mostly

  6. How the fk do u drive in the city then? dont you have problems? I gave up on my dad's honda city when I was learning how to drive a few weeks back...its so tough :P

but then I tried the wagon R and it felt just right :furious:

    Congratulations btw :roflroll:

never learn to drive on a big car like Honda city. always start with small cars :P

  7. AFAIK, if u want to replace your PS3's internal HDD, you can get a max of 500 GB only. I dunt know price for 500 GB, but 320 GB should be 2800-2900 now.

If u are talking about the external ones u connect through USB, go for Western Digital My book or Maxtor Basics. You can get each for 5500 or 5600 bucks

    thanks for the reply mate..

yea saw the maxtor 1TB at ebay.in for around 5.8k.. and even 500GB on PS3 would be fine.. but only if it is possible to transfer data using USB to USB cable. what is the price of 500GB PS3 HDD and what brand should i go for?

  8. can someone tell me which external HDD to go for. i want 1TB and at a good price.. another option is to upgrade my PS3 HDD.. is there a way to transfer stuff directly from PC to PS3 by using dual sided USB and vice versa? if this is true.. i will as well buy a PS3 HDD.. what would be the cost of 1GB HDD for PS3.. thanx all...

  9. ^^ Nice one man! How much?

Now you get to feel every time u splatter a majinis brains all over the wall.. lol

thanks me bretha... it cost me 2575 incl delivery. bought from ebay.in and use discount copon. and wat u say is nothing but the truth. enjoyed a lot blowing up majhinis brain last nyt.

  10. even if ther is not..... you can make one.... it doesnt take mush...

i am sure you can buy those connectors..get the female 3.5mm and just ask someone to solder it..

but i have seen them ready made in lots of local shops....

exactly i was thinking of making one myself... i thought of connecting my headphones directly to RCA plugs after taking out the headphone 3.5 jack and connecting the wires to RCA plugs :roflroll: but i dont have any headphones to waste otherwise i would have done it.

  11. pls help....ok i got a Frontech amp for my PC which i use for my PS3 as well. the problem is that it doesnt have headphones input and i want to connect my headphones to it. the speakers are connected to the amp via normal RCA output. is there any converter available which can convert RCA output into an headphone input? i mean sth that has male RCA leads(red and white) and a female headphone input hole.

  12. harsahil........why do you keep Ur PS 3 in between yourself and the monitor !!

why not keep it standing beside the monitor.......that way you'll be closer to the monitor........and also the arrangement looks a bit wired as it is right now!!........You are giving way too much importance to PS3(hardware).....remember games are imp. not the hardware!

    Just a suggestion!

hey bro thanks for ur suggestion but actually i always keep a safe distance when playing games cos my monitor is large enough to play games from abt 5 feet. its 24" and i never play PC games. so i think this setup suits me and yes it is easy for me to change game discs also... <_<

  13. thanks to all and double thanks to Shubhankster. i really loved the cardboad covering to the game box. its so shiny. the game cost me Rs2200 including shipping. the only problem was that the disk was lying open in the box. there is no scratch. but since BluRays have a scratch protective layer so no worries. on 2nd note: i hope it works
