Checked it out at croma, i thought it looked pretty good... on sale for 42k... but might find it cheaper elsewhere?

Watchmen hits theaters this week in the states. However, I've seen no signs of the movie releasing here yet. No promos, no posters in multiplexes, nothing! I hope it doesn't get the "Sin City" treatment.
Saw one watchmen poster at Fame Lido - Bangalore... a couple of weeks ago... just said coming soon.

Hi, is it safe to play DVD's bought at roadside stores on the ps3? or is there chance of damaging the lens??? should i get a dvd player?

Hi, any suggestions for a 32/ 37" LCD TV. Budget is strictly 40K. cannot go beyond it.
TV should be good for gaming and have good service support. Not interested in grey market/ without bill. any suggestions would help as i cant really differentiate between the different model no's.

Go for the i10 dude, or Swift. A-Star looks crap imho.
swift is not an option i think... isnt it over 4.5l??? i10 does seem to be the best package in my budget.

Do you honesty believe that is rendered on a next generation hardware ? I'm sure that there's something fishy or perhaps that article yesterday on some random forum which assumed SCE Santa Monica must not be revealing the real-time gameplay running on the Playstation 3 cuz of the hype Killzone 2's currently going under and if GOW III 's true gameplay was shown it would kill some of KZ2's hype thus affecting the numbers.Its too hard to believe that way but looking @ this kind work from a team which pushed the Playstation 2's limits , just makes me think whatever crap i can.
lol. we can only hope that wat was shown yesterday is not actually what they have accomplished so far. Yesterdays snippet was a PR blunder, god knows wat Sony PR/ Santa Monica where thinking.

Abt buygame2... I placed an order for ps3 bioshock and dead space - costed 90$ before shipping. with shipping (the cheapest option) and creditcard subcharge total cost was 108$. I think PA would still work out cheaper if one can get hold of 10$ coupons. does buygame2 have coupon system?

I still can't believe there are so many people who hate this game. It's mature in the same way something like Braid or SotC is. As with anything that requires a bit of thought, you really need to stick with it. You don't really 'get' the non-relationship undertones Braid throws at you till you play the epilogue (and even then you'll need to dig around a little), and ditto with SotC until the very end. In the same same way, you need to wait till Niko finds "that special someone" before the whole futility of combat subtext comes out. And when it does come out, it's handled in the best way possible. I loved the small touches like him turning off the radio to introspect, etc. You have to keep in mind that videogames as a medium functions under some pretty big constraints, and more-so for a open-world gangland game like GTA.
Example: You just cannot watch 2001: A Space Odyssey and based upon the introductory Dawn of Man sequence call it a bore. Sure it goes on for as long as it would take to watch an episode of your favorite show on the teevee, but the payoff is worthwhile once you get past the setup.
OT! but i have to say this. I thought Dawn of man was one of the better part of the movie
and oh... GTA4 missions were a pain in the a*s.

ive actually been through the circuit all lit up and it looks just like daylight.....the only potential problem is that the lights, which are at lamppost height and line one side of the street 10 feet from each other, could get in the racers' eyes....other than that the circuit looks awesome....its gonna be a great race

Saw Walle on Saturday. very average movie. pixar sticks to the usual formula, nothing out of the ordinary. decent watch on a laptop...but was not worth spending 200 bucks in the theater.
